532 & IR glasses?

I've been looking around at safety glasses, but have not found any that protect from both 532 and IR. Seeing that many of the Rayfoss lasers don't have IR filters, I can't imagine it's a good idea to stare at an invisible focused spot of 50mW IR (from the 350mW for example) without protection. Sure, you could add IR filters to the laser (Faona offered), but for a burner, the more mW the better...

If you can afford a 350mW 532nm Laser you can afford
a pair of good quality wide wavelength goggles...
Here is an example doing a quick Google search as I wrote
this post...

List $285 - yeah, that's like saying if you can afford one, you can afford two! Not necessarily the case. I was more after comments from others and what they use - perhaps many have not thought about this issue. Since Rayfoss lasers are popular around here, I'd like to know what everyone's using to protect themselves from both wavelengths - assuming they are.

Since I've never shopped for glasses, your "quick search" is my "endless search". Thanks for the link though, it is appreciated. I hope there are some somewhat, shall we say, "less expensive" options?

BUMP with a quick question... Is the IR leakage from a 532 @ 808, 1064, or both?

Yes. These are what I use for non IR-filtered green lasers:
Multiple Wavelength

Not sure about the wavelength of IR light 808 vs 1064 (maybe both) from green pointers.

I believe the leakage is from both 808nm and 1064nm but in what proportions and the dangers of each I couldn't say. Best to err on the side that both are present until otherwise proved I suppose.
