10mW green laser. goggles?

So im probly going to get yelled at for this but if im careful is it reuierd to have goggle for a 10 mW green laser? (i JUST got in to lasers)

You should get goggles for anything over 5mw. That doesn't mean you need to get a pair that's $100+ though

Well, you don't really have to get ones for the 10mW, but you have to be careful where you aim it

Seriously, don't risk it. I've bought several <5mW lasers that are putting out well over 30mW.

If you're messing with green read this thread. Since you live in Austin you can get these for 11.00. Eyes protected, pockets still not dented.

Exactly. Most pens are overspec in my experience. Without an LPM you don't know exactly what you're dealing with
