Nice to see some good reviews on this page, I got an Arctic recently, then joined this forum and found a lot of Anti Arctic people. It got worried, i thought mine was going to stop working soon. Now i have some hope :)
So far i can't disagree with your review. Thanks a lot.

So I'm really not sure about buying a laser, is it really worth the money, or is it just going to be another one of those eeehhhhh things... If I bought one it would probably be he arctic s3 because I haven't seen any other stud about other laser companies. Is there such a thing?

Don't buy it. Some of us are lucky and get good Arctics, but check the thread: '33 reasons not to buy from WL' Something like that, sometimes the consumer doesn't get what he/she wants.
What we can all agree on however is that the Arctic is way overpriced, and there are people on LPF selling lasers of similar quality, but much cheaper.
Alternatively you can build you're own :beer:

The Arctic also comes with a pair of laser safety glasses, but I hear that they aren't good enough.

I performed some measurements on them using one of my Arctics (I have three of the critters).
To wit:

15.60µW (MICROwatts!) {low}
42.90µW {high}.

I believe that all of the power (yes, ALL of it!) is from fluorescence of the lenses themselves!!!
