I've had this laser now for a few days now so here is my review. I was given this laser for free from Steve of Wicked Lasers on the agreement that I would write a review for it. I like to keep my reviews fairly short so here we go.

Pros:
very solid and heavy
stable power output
thin beam
click on/off power switch
red LED power indicator
"minilock" pin allows you to disable the laser when you're not around
comes with a battery and charger
100% duty cycle
warning label comes unattached so you can position it where you want

Cons:
"minilock" pin is nearly impossible to remove with the battery cap on
"minilock" pin doesn't always make electrical contact, may need to twist it a bit to get the laser to come on

Other thoughts/suggestions:
divergence isn't great
doesn't really have any good places to put the warning label
Wicked should probably include goggles at this power level

Measured divergence: 1.615 mrad

Power output: 267mW peak, 258mW average

Overall, a very nice laser.

Nice review!

The beam div. is not horrible... but it could be better. I'm curious to know how your laser will hold up over the month's, take care of it and post another review in awhile please?

Also, I would like to know something about the PSU and charger.

-First off, what kind of power supply & charger does it have? (pics please)

-What are it's charging capabilities/limitations?

-Does the power output of the laser maintain the same average throughout the life of the battery?

Thanks!

Thanks, these are great questions.

The laser came with your standard DSD 2x 18650 Li-On charger seen here DealExtreme: $6.71 DSD 18650 CR123A Charger Black

Along with a single blue 3.7v 18650 marked 2000mAH.

The output power has been constant so far, although I haven't killed a battery with it yet.

This should last him awhile, he takes excellent care of his lasers. Nice review MarioMaster.
