ok my x10 beamexpander from cni has arrived....i did a quik 100ft test to see how much it improved vs yobresal test ...well i got a small dot that measured less than a inch...wow!!what a improvement.. and thats just guessing that i was focased to the smallest point...when i get some time i will take pic.s and do some long dist. tests with a friend....dang i cant wait....

So basically, these are the manufactured equivalent of the Hercules? In the same sense as RPLs being Viasho's, Nova's being CNI's etc. ?

If it is what it looks like it is, then the price is damn good, however the divergence/stability really does leave a lot to be desired...

I haven't seen these on WL's site, are they from their other site ?Techlasers? or something like that?

Pilgor: You mentioned your also has bad divergence, what TEM mode does it operate in?

I will give you a hint:I have a 10KVA pole transformer in the basement.19,920 volt primary!Once kicked with a 25 amp variac, 25,000 volts.Now that's a dangerous primary supply!

But I just wondering Why this laser have a TEM02 beam. Aren't they suppose to be TEM00 beam on these kind of laser? Or they might overdrive this laser and cause TEM02 beam?
