Not so long ago wallbuys made a laser promotion with huge discounts on their products. Well I jumped on 2 different lasers since I wanted to test them to see if they were performing as advertised or were another one of many Chinese lasers with performance way under the advertised specs.

First off let me tell you that the shipping was quite slow. I thought I had lost the lasers, Fortunately I was given a tracking number so, as soon as the lasers hit American soil I felt happy and I understood that sooner or later they would have been delivered to me.

So today I go an pick up the package at the forwarding company. It was unopened and unchecked (fortunately). Once I got home and opened the package I find that there are 2 boxes inside, each one with a laser, a charger, AND a battery ( I was lucky). So if you live in a country that doesn't allow the shipments with batteries inside please be careful on this one, they do send you a battery.
.

The lasers are nice looking, very similar to the C8 host, I bought this host just in case they were bad, so I could reuse the host for another custom built laser, Well fact is that the hose cant be dismantled like the flashlight hosts, and the lasers are pressure fitted in so in my opinion it would be very hard to take them apart and build a new laser out of them.

Now it was time to do some testing. I wasn't expecting much, because of their low price and reputation. Well I was gladly surprised that both performed quite well... One (the green) a little under spec, and the violet a little over spec.
I was surprised to see the stability of this two lasers, the green even if a little under spec didn't show the classic pattern of a green multimode, actually I never saw it change mode and it has a great dot.
The 405 is stable like a rock. Amazing.
As for what concerns the Amps. measured at the battery cap the green has 410mA and the 405nm has 190mA.

Now the 405nm

I am very happy with the purchase of this lasers and based on this experience I could recommend wallbuys to anyone looking for budget wise lasers that do perform as advertised.

I will probably be ordering other lasers from them to test and post the test results.

Actually the host is Ultrafire WF-502b, not C8. Also note, NOT 501b, but 502.

Damn, that green is stable. Nice lasers man!

EDIT - My bad. Read your statement wrong :p But anyway, I don't see much resemblance to C8.

That's a good green laser. You got lucky.

I tested a "200mW" SD301 laser from them, and got only ~50mW.

That looks fantastic! Who did you send it to for polishing?

I sent it to my self.....
I got a sandblaser and a bench polisher just to be able to do this in any future laser I want.
Next step it will be to make some custom paint job or anodizing, but it won't be anytime soon. I need to make some lasers to sell but I am out of time. Too much stuff to do.
