Can't wait for your review! Would love to know what the dot looks like at a distance. Does the 447 beam spread out more than the 640? I ordered one myself but now I have to wait 3-4 weeks for it to show up. :scowl:

The review is definitely going to come anytime soon - wasn´t able to hold my personally dead line of last weekend.
By your words "spread out more", do you mean if the divergence on the 447nm is higher than with the 640nm? If you meant that, yes it is. But I can tell you, if you get a unit as good as mine, you´re going to get VERY happy
The dot on the distance is a nice violet, smaller than I thought before I got the laser! My cam isn´t able to pick it up the way I see it.

That answers my question perfectly. I was referring to the divergence. I can't wait to see what the optical correction in this type of unit does to the 447 dot. By the way, I was in the market for a PGL-III-M-640nm 100mw when I came across this post. Thanks to you I realized I could get the RB laser for only $150 more. I owe you one!

So, Phi, you don't see the red and blue separating at a distance?
That'd be the deal killer for me. I was so p'ed off at Sunclan's dichro *crap* after dumping money into them, the last thing I want to do is order one of these and have it shooting a blue beam in one direction and a red one in another. So I've been holding off to see if the two wavelengths really do 'stick together' or not.
So if you can show some stopped-down spot-shots at a distance i'd be really interested.. And then, just to figure out what color combo to get. 640+445 seems logical, as they'd both be diodes. Or maybe to hold out for an RGB one... hmm.

Matt, i did some distance shots some time ago. I may find them and just post them in the next minutes. Really, the 447nm and 640nm are working PERFECTLY together.
My intention was to review this, make a few shots and selling it, like I do with most of my lasers But I decided to keep it a longer for above reasons :beer:
