I though I'd show you the Laserbee II Deluxe 3W that came to me today at 10am Korean time.
I order this last week and it arrived (Friday). So 6 total business days. That's want I call fast intl. shipping!
What I noticed about the Laserbee II was just how well, J.Bauer Co. takes care to make sure everything is wrapped professionally. Everything looks new. LPM case is perfect. No imperfections of any kind.
I carefully unwrapped the LPM, and exposed the thermopile from the packaging. I am also wearing gloves that I use for handling, audio tubes and LD's.
I read all the documentation on the .pdf file about how to use this device.
I turned on my meter and saw that it was reading 0.0mW. Ok... this is a good sign.
I was expecting the meter to be reading background heat.... nope.
About 5 minutes later I was on my way to start my 1st measurement.
I first started with my newest laser, the 2.7W peak ~2.4W 455nm laser.
Measures, 2687mW pk. 2410mW av. PERFECT! Well within the confines stated by RHD!
: One point of caution, DON'T TOUCH THE ENTER BUTTON. Careful when putting the battery. Enter will exit the measurement program 0mW 0MX and into calibration and diagnostic mode.
FINAL WARNING: DO NOT TOUCH THE THERMOPILE WITH ANYTHING. scratching the surface of the thermopile will throw off the calibration. It will make any measurement skewed.
This is an excellent meter. Pure professionalism and Canadienne made and manufactured. Nothing like buying local...from home that is.
