Thermal comparison of Nova and WL

This is a video of WL Fusion and Novalasers x105 with thermal camera.
WL design is better because of heat dissipation. Having 2 seperate parts makes Nova more difficult to dissipate heat.
Heat, trapped behind the front part and effect the diode and cyrstals more!

Very nice movie. I sure we all wish we had access to nice toys like that. I for one would LOVE to see how well my Kryton barrels stays nice and cool with a red laser diode at 350mw.

You are right this is a hell expensive thing to say a toy

I discovered that when it is 42 degrees it is hard to keep your hand in front of the beam!

It too bad these cameras are so expensive - you could even use them to measure laser power with a suitable black ceramic tile as the target.
