LOL, yes. I actually bought a laser from them. :-[
<intro>OK... well, when they first started out, I took a leap and bought their 75mW CNI model... when I got it, it was fine... but it soon deteriorated to running in TEM modes 01-03, and the divergence increased to 2.1 mRad. I emailed their support about an RMA, but I didn't get a response. So recently, another member here (I can't remember who ) heard about it, and emailed support for me again for some reason... and I got an email back, in which TL's CEO apologised profusely, and said that he sent me a 125mW and some other goodies.</intro>
Everything came in good order... shipping was amazing, at 3 days over a weekend.
The laser itself runs mostly in-spec. The power output is good... I don't have a meter, but it's definitely more powerful than the other 125mW lasers I've used. The divergence is typical for a CNI... just about 1.5 or 1.6 mRad. It's pretty stable... it runs in TEM00, except with new batteries, it's *almost* TEM01 for less than 2 minutes.
and, I'll have a power meter pretty soon... I'll get accurate measurements then.
I also got a caps set with the laser... they're really handy. but sadly, my eclectus got a little curious, and I still haven't found where he hid them.
So overall, I give it an 8/10. It'd usually be like a 6, but considering that I didn't pay a cent for it...
I'll have pictures and videos up soon, if anyone wants to see them.
