Hello guys,
I`m going to spend a "quick" review about the new tactical 1.2W laser from O-like.
Specs:
Wavelength:445nm
output power :>1.1W
powered by 1pcs 18650 lithium batteries (included)
size:(Φ24mm+Φ43mm)×135mm

I`ll start saying that I don`t have a Lpm(NOT YET) so I can`t prove the real output of this thing (if somebody near by me with lpm pls contact me in pvt).
Ok I open the box and this is what I found inside

It comes with a Ultrafire battery TR 18650 2400Ah 3.7V
Charger
Laser (of course)
2 diffraction lens(free!!! as it says on the website)

The laser by itself is really heavy and feels sturdy in my hands, all solid metal(aluminum alloy I guess) and very well detailed. The host it`s made out of 3 main parts:
Back-cup with on-off switch(socket for battery)
Body or host
Head (the head includes the focusing wheel and lens that can be separated)
The laser is waterproof since it`s equipped with 2 O-rings each side altough I tested it only 1min under the water. The battery takes 2h to full charge.

The dot is not a dot but a rectangle(normal diode construction) and the focusing wheel is really stiff but it gets a little better once you play with it for a while.
At the very first you try to focus the beam unfortunately the wheel tend to go back to original position and it`s not easy to focus precisely

I`ve reached the maximum of 8 files attached...but I have a video and more pix that I will upload on next post ...

Thank you

Here is the Tactical compared to my old one REAL 1W 445NM and a couple of pix to test the lens they came with it.

this is a quick burning test (without focusing) on a double side DVD case...count few secs and that`s it ...went thru!

YouTube - Tactical laser 1.2W

JakeGT thank you for the offer but I rather look for somebody in my area so I can go personally check it out.

Thank you all

Sounds good! You can check out my collection! My lpm should be here later this week so it'll be the first for both of us. :)

Where you at the beach when the tsunami hit? I saw it on tv.

Hell yeah, would be nice to see what these commercial lasers really put out. Seems like most who buy 445 from o-like and rayfoss, don't have LPM's
