I tried out the Dual head laser from ScreamBuy.com (Green & Red)
Here's the link:
( 2 in 1 ) Red and Green laser flashlight two color laser flashlight , 650nm red in 100mW , 532nm green in 50mW [BgpW-0025 two color laser] : Screambuy electronic consume products
I was planning on blending the beams for a yellow. Or possibly swapping out the red with a blu-ray and blending it with the green.
But for 3 reasons, I changed my mind...
1. The green module is over 100mW's stable, and this it too much power for what I had in mind for blending when I bought it. (says 50mW's on the site)
2. Both lasers come on together, and there is no separate switching.
3. I found that I like the kaleidoscope tip with the two colors together!
So I'll just have to come up with my own design for blending green and blu-ray.
Anyway, here are some pictures:
This dual laser was only $80 bucks! The package includes an 18650 battery, a charger, and two tips for the laser. (spinning, wide angle kaleidoscope tip, and the other tip just has an off centered aperture hole, and blocks the other beam)
I will probably just keep the kaleidoscope tip on there and never use the other tip. The kaleidoscope tip turns for different patterns with dual colors. Really cool!
There is a dual circuit in there that I didn't want to take apart. Might mess it up...
The tail switch is a nice little clicky, and is recessed.
The host quality is not the greatest, but for the price of this package deal, it is plenty good.
Both lasers are about 108mW's and steady. (hopefully they are all like that)
Also, the owner has very good communication and e-mails the tracking number.
Pretty impressed for the price!
