SO I ordered a laser from Etian Feb 2. Received it after a fake shipping number or two, took about a month I believe to receive. Unfortunately the diode was damaged as it looked like someone dented the top of the can down and cracked the glass. The laser barely worked and very low power, it seemed the diode was damaged. Since then I have emailed back and forth with him about getting a replacement diode/driver module, and he responded for a while with empty promises of shipping numbers and random dates he said he had shipped it, repeatedly, then started saying my email wouldn't receive the image proof he had shipped anything, and now, after all this and many many emails asking for udpates and receiving random information that meant nothing, he has finally stopped responding. Wish so badly I had a good business transaction with Etian but this was anything but. I'm out a bunch of money now and have no working laser still, almost 3 months later. I'll never buy from him again.

Sorry to hear that, I hope he is banned from the forum soon as it seems he is doing nothing to rectify and he violated more than enough rules, that and I doubt the banner would be renewed, I do wonder how long it has left to flash away serving only to salt the wounds of those with unrecoverable losses.

This really sucks he use to be a good guy. Back when I was frequent on here I would never thought he would wind up turning into someone like this. I hope it gets straightened out for you.

Yea, didn't know he posted the apology letter. I understand how paypal works as I've been an ebay seller for a decade, it's tougher than ever. But like everyone said on the apology thread, he got too greedy seeing the money flood in, not being able to fulfil the orders but sitll wanting that cash in his account. He should have paused the entire flow and listed all his products as out of stocl until every last paying customer's order was shipped. It's money many of us won't get back. Explanations and honesty with someone who pays you for something goes so so far. I'd rather be told the brutal truth and even be told it would take 4 months vs lies and nonsense for months. Tough lessons all around. I wish him good luck

He may fall under the custom made rule, but I would file a PP claim anyway.

Another thread? Can we please make one general thread where people can post their issue with him. It's been said many times, open a claim and escalate it directly.

Might start reporting these as spam now.

Yea already opened a claim a month after he sent me wrong info, then it showed up because it scared him so I canceled it. Can't reopen it with paypal. Go ahead spam this, now that Rivem has enlightened me, no need.
