Hello, I'm from Brazil and I've been reading the forum for a while to decide which real laser to begin with (I bought the 5mw with logo from DX first) and finally choose the green sdlaser 301 50mw from DX one, mostly due to siqueira's review (valeu brother :beer

It arrived yesterday, along with a charger for the 18650, protected 18650's and I also bought safety glasses from focalprice which arrived last week.
The laser is veeery nice! Although I don't have a LPM, my eyeometer tells my that it seems to be really 50mw in comparison with the 5mw one (which is already said to be overspec), burns matches when focused, pops ballons and has visible beam in lit room. :eg:
But, the one thing I found strange was the dot behaviour of it. It seems that it has a circular shape when initialized but right after it canges to an eliptical shape (I think it is changing from TEM00 to TEM01, is that correct?). Is this any sort of malfunction? Can it affect the laser somehow?
Anyway, I uploaded a video on youtube so you can see what I'm talking about and post your comments/toughts. I focused it to the maximum so the dot was the biggest.
