Ya its His newest model so far and i believe i read some where that it should be on the web sight and able to buy in early February of 09

has the beam expander a male screw or it was used an adaptor?

you do relise this was 12-20-08 right ? it is now 2-28-10?

if you look at the beam expander it does have male threads witch screwed into the adapter witch screwed into the laser

and i no longer have the rpl and the beam expander is broken but repairable it just needs an input optice from melles griot,,,,, i had a cleaning accident and it rolled off the table onto the floor : (

Yes, but I suppose that the screws do not change during the time ;) :D

I only wanted to be sure because my beam expander has a female screw and now I need an adapter like the one in Fig.

that is truly a bummer but ya some melles griot beam expander did come with female threads on them and you would need a male to male adapter in order to use the adapter that i was attached to the rpl : )

if you wanted to buy mine I would be willing to sell it for 150$ it’s a 30x and the front optics are in great condition after cleaning them it’s just the rear one that fell of the table was shattered I am sure you just need to get on the phone will melles griot to order it.....I tried one day but got an answer machine ( think it was lunch time) and haven’t perused it as I don’t really need the thing as much as I thought I would any more

thanks for the informations and for your offer but at the moment, after buying your RPL and a 10x beam expander I have finished my founds and I'll happy to find only a male to male adapter :)
