Pros:

Relatively cheap for the quality of the host.

Cons:
Only 750mW (I know that is still a lot of power but compared to other 445nm lasers out there not so much)
Not waterproof
Only 1 mode
Focus is dry, could be lubed
Orange clicky cover (I switched to GITD)

Overall I am very happy with this laser. I really wanted a 445nm that could accept the star tips. I really wanted one that would also be focusable. I also wanted >1W but I guess no laser has it all. Thanks Lazerer.

Okay I modified the hell out of this thing. I put in a 1.8A jib driver, changed the diode out, swapped the lens for a AR 445nm Glass, less sensitive clicky switch.
The power is now WAY up there. It gets hot quickly though. Worth it.

the host looks kinda like a spyder S3 Arctic Plus nice job modding it!

Yeah it is ,like a mini version. It kicks ass now. To anyone who gets one of these, swap the driver and the lens and you are set.
 
These Diodes are from Projectors? I mean all the Chinise 447nm Lasers.?

I would like to say yes but the word "all" is kind of encompassing and there are certainly Chinese 447nm lasers who's diodes did not originate from projectors.
 
What batteries are you running with Jib's 1.8A driver?
Since it originally took an 18650, I'm assuming 2x 16340's?

If so, that's quite a draw for those little guys if they aren't IMR's.

Yes, still case positive. I am waiting on a couple of IMR cells to see how powerful this one will be when powered up fully. If there is even a change in power vs normal Lion cells.
 
Thats cool I thought it was still case + from the picture. I have a couple of IMR 18350s left over from the build where my G1 came from l, all I need to complete it it's a diode and a jiblet.

can the stock diode handle the "1W"? (since you changed out the diode too)

and you just bought a host with "junk" in it that you had to mod :P

Yeah the diode is fine as is. Mine had a little gunk on the window and I made it worse while cleaning it so I just replaced it.
