Lemme fix your videos...

random burnin'

more random burnin'

maybe going into space?

power meter

Your LPM readings are surprisingly within spec (500-1000mW)...

Can you also do a 5 minute LPM video to test the stability? :yh:

I was not given any kind of shipping confirmation or anything. After 3 weeks I contacted customer service and they said it had been shipped in two parts because it was illegal to ship batteries or something like that.

I lol'd.

More like they're scared of their fake FDA approved lasers getting stuck in customs.

Seems whatever they can lie about .. they will. Nice work Wicked.

HAHAHA I always die laughing when they give that reason for separate shipping. The reason they ship in two packages is because THERE LASERS ARE NOT FDA CERTIFIED.

It really bothers me that on there site they claim to have the only FDA certified handheld lasers for 2 reason. The first reason is because it's a blatant lie but the second reason (and this is the one that bothers me the most) is that it makes uninformed people feel like WL is the only place they have the option to buy from, they give this whole BS shtick about how they are the only safe company to buy from and it essentially scares people into thinking WL is the only place they can go to get lasers.

When I see these statements on the WL Forum it just is
so wrong...
It makes as much sense as if they marketed it at 2Watts
and speced it at (200mW to 2000mW)...

At 721mW it would STILL be in spec... but an even bigger
lie...

If they can't tune in their quality control then they should
stop selling lies..

Jerry, while the last paragraph in your statement is very true, as long as there are people who make impulsive buys without doing research, Wicked Liars will have a business.

I also should mention that when doctrlaser and I were testing his Krypton. I noticed that when on high, it would mode hop pretty badly. Looked like Tem13 ?? :undecided:
It was hard to capture on video:

Sheesh, that mode hopping is terrible.

Did you do any LPM tests longer than 30 seconds?

I bought the Krypton and did some testing. So far, I can burn a hole on the CD case within 4.5 - 5 secs consistently. I know it's not 1w, but I bought it for it's brightness. Under a bright sunlight, the dot is very bright and clearly seen. Under a shadow, you can see the light green beam. WL may get horrible reviews, but thanks to them, I got my laser. First shipment got confiscated by the stupid customs. Let me tell you that it wasn't because of FDA problem, it was the customs themselves. They thought it was too dangerous for anyone to own it! What bugs me is that, I haven't found any laws in Canada that would make it illegal yet. What's to say, maybe one of those people working at customs saw the laser and wanted to keep it for themselves?

Ok you buy it cause it brightness but as other members have said, you could get around the same power at as cheap as half the price of the krypton. Thats what they meant

Try less then a quarter of the price....

For what it is, the krypton is very overpriced imo.

It is a >500mW laser... not a >1W.

Not even. Lazerer and o-like both sell a 500mW laser for less than 300 dollars. so basically 3/10 the price of a krapton. I have no problem with some one liking a laser even if it's not up to spec. what does bother me is that by purchasing a laser you know is underspec you are supporting a company with dishonest business practices, a company that lies about things such as FDA certification, a company thats has taken advantage of thousands of customers. It just bothers me to see people people supporting a company like this thus allowing them to continue doing this. If people keep purchasing from them than wicked lasers has no incentive to clean up there act and deliver a quality product.
