Where to start ;D
Well this laser is just great, the beam is nice and tight and has great divergence. The laser is really powerful I've managed to cut black plastic bag ( really quickly ) without a lens . It can smoke black plastic with a lens and even sting skin if you sharpie it. The beam is visible even in a lit room .
Build quality is nice, heavier than I expected, and bigger, feels nice to hold . The cap goes on easily. Battery is slightly too small and rattles if you shake it, not really a problem as it still keeps contact, and better too small than too big .
I'm using 3.0V batteries with this laser ( Energizers ), and its really good, it would be even brighter and more powerful with 3.6V batteries .
The only problem I've had with this laser is the PCB inside that holds the button, it isn't well supported and after a while the brightness started to flicker, I Put paper under the board and that fixed it .
Does have a duty cycle, I would recommend 30 seconds on 20 seconds off .
It's a great laser overall, except the PCB but what more could you want for $20 !
My friends have already asked if I could get some for them they love the beam and everything . BUY THIS LASER its good for a cheap knock about pocket green , though you should get 3.6V RCR123A's as that would give you even better output than I have and you wouldn't need to spend lots on new bats, though I managed to get 3V duracells for £1.99 ( alot cheaper than the energizers )
BUY IT !!
( Also I'll host images for people if you want, just send me the image and your user name as the file name )
