Why is the color of your unit black? Mine is metallic gray...

Mike, great as usual. Have you tried inserting it into some kind of heatsink to test if a bigger chuck of aluminum/copper gives it a bit more stability?

^ Good point Niko. Looks like a great return on investment. If you leave it in your pocket to warm up, don't forget to turn it off or it will warm up reeeal quick. :eg:

The color of the laser in the picture is what the camera got. It is that silver /grey color. The flashmust have blinded the camera and I didn't photoshop.

Here's some beamshots of the laser. Clear night. No smoke/fog. The second pic is a comparison with my DTR 445nm 1.4W laser. With the naked eye, it seems as if the green is brighter, but the camera likes to pick up the blue better.

It took me about 30 mins to find this review with an actual beamshot. I'm buying this laser right now. Screw funds lol... That beamshot is worth it.

Edit: OMG this hobby is addictive. I just bought a laser pointer for over £100!!!! I didn't think I'd actually buy it. Internet shopping is so easy nowadays. Ah well. It's only money. Life is too short :).

Thanks to Hmike for such a great review and beamshots. Without it I wouldn't have bought this laser.

Thanks for the help on the beam shots. This review wont be found in the "review compilation sticky" but I hope some of you enjoyed it.

Is this product more powerful than rayfoss 200MW FLX or o-Like 200mw ? I'm Undecided. Very famous rayfoss 200mw lasers. There are ( rayfoss 200mw ) a lot of review. But this product is new. Yet there are one or two reviews.

My english is very bad. I'm sorry.

Hey HM, I like that graph. Very nicely done!

Any chance you measured the divergence already? Or could we get you to do the test for us.

Thanks!

Sparkles ---
I like to do divergence testing in the back yard(s) where I can measure at say -- 20 and 200 feet. That gives a better reading. Sadly, it's nutz deep in snow back there and coollldd
Where is the globule warming Algore promised us? :wtf: Is it going away like Y2K or Ozone Hole lies?
