Bumping his own review 2 hours after creating it without adding new info is not cool :shhh:

That was the reason for my -smiley
Oh I see, fair enough. You are right; sorry getting a little excited over my first lasers. Will not happen again :) Thanks for letting me know.

Anyway, I'm glad all went well. :)
Why cringe at that? What's funny? I must have missed some deep-forum humour here. :) lol do explain.

Awesome review, nicely laid out and lot's of picture's

@Belch85 - We were just having a bit of fun with you. Look up Astrology vs. Astronomy. Otherwise your review was spot-on. Carry on mate. :)

Great review. I am currently in the market for some cheap lasers (405, 532, 640, 808; 50mW-200mW). O-like and Laserpointerpro seem to have the best prices, only Laserpointerpro seems to have an awful reputation, while O-like's is merely a bit spotty.

From what I have read here, I am willing to give O-like a try. (And boy, I keep hearing so much about this Susie. She must be China's most famous customer service representative.)

:thanks:

Inexpensive 532nm look at Fasttech as every unit I've tested is way overspec (most between 50-100mw), they are inexpensive and have <10% IR. Also, Fasttech has great customer service compared to most sellers out there and shipping is free even on something < a $1. Code BLF for 5% discount under 100 bucks.

Thanks for the heads up on FastTech. I did some research and found an amazing video review on YouTube by some guy named Andrew Willis. That convinced me to get that exact model (in the Aldary stylish white shell).

Meanwhile, since this thread is partly about o-like, I went ahead and bought one of theirs too.

By the way, does anyone know what "Aldary" is?

glad it worked out for you. i remember giving advice on the original thread. that wide beam 532 looks sweet, I might have to get one in the future. or maybe just get an expander for my RPL

Very informative review, you have saved me hours of internet surfing trying to find reviews on that same 405mn laser. I had almost purchased the LZMN - Mini 405nm 200mW off of Lazerer for about the same price but I think I'll just give this one a shot based on your review and hope it's a good introduction into lasers for me. Also the photo's were more than helpful thanks again.
