Well, As I wrote I my review I didn´t measure the divergence of this laser but it´s better than a 200mW laser with a smaller beam diameter. At about 10- 15m distance I´m getting about the same dot size. So compared to the bigger beam diameter at the output this laser deviates much less than one with a smaller diameter and as said I could easily see the dot on clouds. So would say it´s very useful for long distance pointing.
Would say pretty much the same. Mine is still doing fine while I incrased the output to be 500+ mW and it´s still like new. It can run for a few minutes without getting hot and is still my brightest laser. Even a bit brighter now. So no need to replace it exept there is someone who will offer me a 1000mW greenie for a good price
Great review! It was very useful for me in deciding which laser should be my first 'real' laser... or first high-powered laser x).
I really like the host of this laser. I mailed Max to ask a few specific things, and if all goes well I will place an order... And hopefully in the very near future make a good review of the laser aswell x).
Thanks again for this review, it was very informative!
