Hey guys,

my DinoDirect package just arrived after about two weeks of shipping.

Link: 20mW 532nm Open-back Steel Green Laser Pointer Pen(2 x AAA included) - DinoDirect.com

The reason why I bought this (very stylish) laser is NOT the output! It's the design!
I want to use it for presentations and I don't want to blind people looking at my laser dot, so I decided to go with the 20mW version.

Pictures first:

Price:
The laser cost me $14 after the 20% LPF coupon.

Beam comparision (Rayfoss 50mW FLX vs. DinoDirect 20mW)

Look & Feel:
The laser itself has very nice quality! No scratches at all, looks very stylish.
The screwing cap for the batteries feels also very "smooth" when opening.
It's also very handy, not heavy.
The only bad thing is, that you leave fingerprints all over the surface, but I guess that's the price of beauty ;)
It also comes with a plain black laser box.

IR filter:
I don't think it has an IR filter, since it's a cheap china laser.

Power supply:
The laser uses two AAA batteries (running at 1.5V)
Those were included in the package, but I'm using Duracell Plus batteries instead.
Batteries have to be placed with + to the tailcap. I had to guess that, because there were no instuctions :D

Output:
I don't have a LPM, so I can't measure it's exact output, but I think it could be real 20mW (maybe you can give your opinion after looking at the pictures, too).
Output is stable, BUT the first second you turn the laser on, the output is a little higher. After that first second, it decreases a little and is then constant.

Burning:
I didn't test burning, since I don't want to do that kind of stuff with it.
If theres any interest in some tests, just let me know.

Conclusion:
It's a very nice design laser at very low price. Even if it's outputting only 10mW I don't care because I don't need such high power.

That's pretty much it, I hope you liked my review.
I appreciate your opinion about that laser, so feel free to post and ask questions about it!
