you say 2 opposite things is the laser 16 mW or 5 mW

# Specified Output Power: 5mW
# Average Output Power: 16mW

that is enough difference to become in a lot of legal trouble which is it ;)
it can not be both its physically impossible :)

He paid for a 5mw laser. But his laser does 16mw AVG. ;) (Very nice laser btw, 473 is a beautiful wavelength)

Right now the only place where you could get into legal trouble with a class IIIb pointer to the best of my knowledge (provided the owner is not an imbecile and uses the laser wisely) is Australia.

Unless you are referring the the legal issue of a laser being sold as a <5mw (class IIIR) laser while it clearly produces more power falling into Class IIIB? Seeing as how it complies with no FDA regulation anyway, I think it is not to big a problem.

That is a great, detailed review...

I too am very happy with my Aquarius through Glenn's GB. Way over spec!

If I tried to get it from Laserglow's pricing shown above, it would have been $1899!

It is very stable, and has very little warm up time too...

I have an RPL 473 that will peak at 40mW's. But it jumps around a lot. And also requires a long warm up, and a fully charged battery to reach the max power.

Not that the RPL is bad or anything, but I like the CNI pen a lot better! For it's size, stability, looks and feel, and last but not least, it's great power that peaks over 30mW's! :)

Glenn is the MAN! (I should mention that this is a rare one - even from Glenn)

*Sigh* that's the reason I haven't been able to get some nice buys around here (not the owner being an imbecile part LOL, the current laser regulations), but it's also the reason I'm not broke :p. Although, if it's Glenn that's directly shipping to the recipient then no one should have a problem with customs. Hmmm I might be interested if Glenn does do another gb provided he does do the shipping to the buyer.

I have tossed in a rechargeable or primary battery with some of these lasers as a gift, CNI provides none, and as for a charger DX has them for something well under $15, but I have re-sold some of those too.

As for OZ I get 'em in there too! HNY! -Glenn

Through review. I love the blues. I'm focusing on a 473nm and 635nm next, Ive got plenty of the usual colors.
