532nm Green Laser Pointer 5mw $8.20 (free shipping)
(SewellDirect - Ebay)

Military Grade Green Laser Pointer 5 mA w/ Batteries - eBay (item 150476073840 end time Nov-09-10 09:39:31 PST)

Came bubble-wrapped in mailing envelope, 2 AAA Batteries were included.

This was my first green laser (I had a red laser pointer from long ago) and I am VERY pleased with how bright it is for just $8.20, it was well worth the price ! You can easily see the beam outside at night for star pointing, and even see it some in a dimly lit room in the daytime.

(SewellDirect was also good about answering my questions and having VERY quick delivery with only having to wait 5 days from ordering to receiving ! )

(I'll add photos later if I get any of my inexpensive cameras to take beam shots, ot at least of the spot it makes)

Date ordered: 10-03-10
Date received: 10-08-10
Number of days from ordering to receiving: 5 days

I think they just add the "military grade" to the description to add to the hype :D

....on their product page it says among other things:

"The Military Grade Astronomy Green Laser Pointer 5mW is a glorious tool that can be used by the military or the lowly star gazer."

(so I guess they are basiclly trying to infer that it can be used for professional use as well as for the casual hobby person like an astronomer for star pointing :D)

Anyhow, advertising hype aside, it is well worth the $8.20 as the one I got has an easily visible beam outside at night for star pointing.

No LPM, but I'll have to try to keep that in mind as a future possibility to consider if I find a very inexpensive one I can fit in my modest hobby budget, other hobby stuff and odds and ends have been using up my hobby savings rather quickly lately :D
