so this is mostly a video review that was requested by Pman of a fasttech 532nm laser pen. Here is the link https://www.fasttech.com/product/1030000 for the price its a very nice laser. the size is just right for EDC and I actually like this laser a lot more then my 2xAAA pen lasers. So here is the video!! (sorry it's kind of out of focus)

Thanks and so others know, I ordered 2 of these along with a few more 50mw 532nm modules from them yesterday.
I've cut down many a standard (2) AAA pen to run off a 10440 for some stubbies but here the work is allready done with decent output and a single aaa.
Like the choice of lithium and mentioning that it is case negative:)

Very nice video review:p

I actually own this little nipper for a few weeks time now and I can't stop to think about what a cheap, yet powerful laser baby is it! Planning to buy one more for a friend of mine, can't go wrong for that money it's worth. Even the 2-3 weeks delivery time from fasttech.com won't stop me from buying it, unless it'd be out of stock, once the word spreads around:whistle:

What do yall mean by EDC? I think of this everytime:

EDC = Every Day Carry

The laser is so small that you can carry it with you everyday. :)

It was a picture of EDC. Electric Daisy Carnival. Speaking of, going to Dayglow Lawrence, KS. tomorrow.

Back on topic, thanks for the definition! That's been confusing me for quite some time.

I just wish it came in black! other then that I've got no issues with it! nice small stable single cell pen!!

Will be interesting to see what my 2 test out at when they arrive. My latest shipment from them hasn't hit the states yet and I'm wondering if they are stuck in the holiday over there. Says they passed thru but usually I would see them hit CA by now. Have had unusually long shipping times for multiple items from multiple places lately:( Wondering if they use the same module as the 50mw one but I'm thinking probably not unless they are "de-tuned".

Got 3 of these 2 weeks ago. There are all working great, but have yet to LPM them how many mW they have.

awillis, think you´re cool when I add these values to your thread, right?

I was planning on adding my values also to keep it all in one place.

I thought I was mistaken at first, is that 5mW pen actually overspec to 77mW!?!
