Sorry, all friends of LPF. I have promised you to give you the test results of my lasers a few days ago. I'm really sorry for my late here. I am busy with the improvement of my website and some problems of my sold items. Some customers are angry with me, I'm sorry for it, I will give you all a good solution.

Now, I will tell you the real output of some of my lasers. Firstly, I beg for your pardon for the low output. Wish the results won't disappoint you too much. I know you will be no interested in these low output ones, and my workers are trying to get some high power ones, some 473nm, 405 nm ones.

Many stories need to be told about UltraFire 500mW 532nm Green Laser Pointer () I will tell you in brief.
The results of them were about 168 mw (without IR fliter) . But now the 168mw ones are out of stock. Then I have to find them from another supplier, but they turns out to be only 100mw. I'm really unhappy with the output. That's why I delay this thread.

600mW Open-Back Focal Adjust Blue Violet Laser Pointer Set(2*16340 Included:600mw

300mW 532nm Adjust Focus red Laser Pointer (): about 168 mw.

200mW 532nm Green Stage Laser Module () : about 169mw

100mW 650nm Red Laser Pointer with AC Charger () : 100mw

200mw 650nm Focusable Mini Flashlight Style Red Laser Pointer() : 101mw

200mW 532nm Mid-Open Green Laser Pointer(1*CR123A Included) () :131mw

80mW 532nm Green Stage Laser Module(12V) () : 80mw

XX-850 30mW 532nm Green Laser Pointer(1*CR123A Battery)() : 40mw

50mw 532nm Mid-Open Green Laser Pointer Pen(2*AAA Included)-Dark Blue(): 50mw

That's the real output of some of my lasers. We have output guarantee for the lasers above, and only the lasers above (we can assure you the output will be ± 20% around the results). If not, I will be responsible for it.

Refer to other lasers in my webist, We can't give any output guarantee to you SOrry

And more, we don't have IR filter now, so the guarantee is only for output without IR filter. But I can promise you we will have output guarantee with IR filter. And will have more guarantee lasers later. Sorry for it!

Thanks all

Reliable john.

Hey John...

what I would suggest you need to do is have your Supplier
guarantee that the specs he supplies with the Lasers are
accurate or have the Supplier change his specs to actual tested
power...

If that is not an option... then you could change the description
on your site to the Actual Tested output range +/-20%... and
perhaps identify that Laser as Verified...
Or you could do what I suggested on your other Thread this
morning...

I see that some Lasers above are at spec and one even over
spec... but you will need to randomly test at least 10 lasers per
Laser Type for your own tests to find the average of a received
batch...

So the 600mW laser has a 445nm diode inside? Hey you´re $20 cheaper than FOCALPRICE and we have the power guarantee :)
I also noticed that it is the same host O-Like has for their much-discussed 400mW greenie!

Please check this link, it doesn´t work.

What else I can say... CONGRATS there are some nice lasers in your shop and the price for some units is unbeatable!! I´ve waited long for a Chinese company coming here showing the real output of their lasers! :gj:

But I do agree with Jerry (lasersbee), you have to test at least 10 lasers from each type and get the percentile.

Keep going on with your work on these, you´re on the right track

@jerry: I think the latter is particularly important for the 532 nm lasers, as they can really vary greatly between individual units, even from the same production batch. With the red lasers i think the results will be more consistent, its more or less they way they are built, and there arent that many variables (apart from setting the correct current).

Btw, are those measurements for the greens IR filtered? If so, the 200mW portable that does 131 is actually a really good deal.

why are the green and red colored green laser pens not the same than the "dark blue" ?

Green are DPSS modules, red and "dark blue (i suppose you mean 405nm, near-UV ones) are diodes .....

BTW, what do you mean with "not the same", on-spec ?

What I was trying to say in my post above was that John should
hold HIS Supplier accountable for the power of the Supplier's
Lasers according to the Supplier's specs...

That's why John would need to do a random check of a few
Lasers with every batch he receives from the Supplier...
BTW... we can't expect John to test Every single Laser without
compensation... IMO

I'm pretty sure the powers state by John above are for output
measurements as the Laser arrive to him... (without IR Filters)
John could confirm that...
He must be sleeping... he is on the other side of the Globe and
it must be dark there...:D

Interesting results.... I am keen to see some cheap, 473nm lasers hitting the market... Please look into this. You will defiantly have business from rare laser collectors.

So you are saying the 50mw green you tested was 50mw but that any we buy could be up to 20% less so some of the 50mw could be 40mw, but would something closer to 40mw be a more rare exception and would most of them likely be closer to 50mw ?

+/- 20% can mean as low as 40mw and as high as 60mW...

I would assume he is testing his supplier's Lasers to find out....

Ideally that should be possible, but in reality it seems difficult to achieve at a reasonable price. The other option would be measure each individiual unit, and bin them for sale a different prices with guaranteed powers. That's obviously a lot of work, but it can be highly succesful because you will deliver what you promise every single shipment.

we have test nearly 10 for each kind, and for some lasers, we have tested more than 20 ones, such as the 500mw ones. But for some lasers, we have only tested 5 or more, for we don't have too many stock.

And more, we will test each laser before they are send to you.

Thanks for all your suggestion, I'm here listen to you always.

We all knew these would be much lower then they were rated so I dont think anyone is surprised. Im very happy to have to opportunity to buy a bargain laser and know what the output should be.
