Hello all, and welcome to my review thread of the Rayfoss C03!
(please observe that english, not being my natural language, you could notice some 'failures' on proper diction/grammar. Please, if you notice any statement that could not be properly understood, contact me and I'll explain and edit it. Thanks)

I've kept my eye on this laser a lot of time, I even thinked about buying it from PriceAngels and a O-like module and DIY for 200mW output, but it is not worth the hassle. I payed for the laser today (17-Feb) 1:30 hours ago (11AM -3 GMT +1 Daylight saving time). Faona answered all my questions in a unquestionable speed (within 15 minutes to 1 hours - O-like never answered any emails of mine) so I ordered from her. I got some diodes, lens and DHL, when the whole thing gets here I'll review it.

WHY THIS ONE?
I've seen good reviews on his brother, and I believe as, the head is removable, probably the module is the same. I really like his indicator led (don't like it blue, tho, but NP), the safety KEY (not pin) and shutter. I appreciate these functions even Brazil don't checking into safety issues in lasers.

SELLER SUPPORT + REPUTATION?
By the actual time, Faona support has been outstanding. I've never seen such a good support in any other PLACE! Most sellers just state "you can get this or this, thanks", Faona truly knows about her products and is very honest, she even said when IR filters were out of stock and actual shipping times etc..
Faona reputation is very good here in forum, and I believe buyer--seller comunication is essential: this leads to both sides being happy with their deal.
:D:D:D:D:D (5/5)

NEW INFO: ARRIVED!
The DHL courier came here today. I had to pay custom taxes (there go my last $50 :() so he handled the parcel to me. Here some pics:

4886-dsc06154.jpg

4887-dsc06161.jpg

4888-dsc06162.jpg

the fourth pic are the lens + diode that I ordered from rayfoss. The diode is a SOC (hmm, strongest than a LOC maybe) and 2 445 and 1 660nm lens. Very well protected!

The laser itself works as a charm. The beam is visible in daylight (outside) and VERY visible indoors... Dangerous! Reader beware :D

I'll be updating with beamshots and burning soon.

Pros:
- Outstanding price
- 2 Day shipping (stated, may change)
- Good reputation on LPF (9 1/2 stars by Rob :))
- STRONG!
- Keylock and shutter
- Burns when focused, black things burn unfocused
- IR filter (mine has removed, +30mW of IR to help burn :p
- Fast shipping

Cons:
- acceptable divergence
- not REALLY focusable (you can remove the head anyways)
- not waterproof, not supposed to (will not count into rating)
- most goggles protect from green and blue, the indicator light is blue.. lol
- custom taxes: $50 :( Faona rated as Flashlight, $15 gift

Total Score:
Overall Power score: x for power, x for divergence etc., +1 for IR filter being available, assemblied!
Overall "Phisical" score: x for size + beauty, x for quality
Overall Seller score: 5/5 for seller, x for shipping issues (time + quality)
TOTAL: I give it an eight. 8/10. The divergence isn't VERY good (worst than Pens) and it don't have indications of battery side, I had to find it myself. Works very good tho, 10/10 to beauty. It feels heavy in your hand, and the body is 2mm thick aluminium.

I'm very satisfied and I'll buy from Faona again :D

Thanks for reading my review. I'll answer any questions needed!

Just a heads up,
I ordered a 200mw red laser from rayfoss on January 21. I haven't got it yet but I'm sure it will come.
Good luck

Thanks. You ordered with EMS or air mail? You should ask Faona what happened to your order.

It was air mail. I asked Faona and she said that it was delayed due to holiday season.

Thats normal, then. It really had a holiday. Chinese send a lot gifts on that holiday, so the Air mail should've got overloaded. ;)

it cost you $200 in all, right?
Why don't you show us some photos of its light and the real output ,the IR.
