Rayfoss 660nm >200mW laser torch!

So I recieved my >200mW red laser from rayfoss.com with an extra 18650 2400mAh 3.7V battery with a charger. The charger... It sucked. It wouldnt charge, because the flip out prongs to go into the outlet would only rub up against two more prongs in the charger... So it got sucky connection. I took it apart, and wired a cable plug to it. And that fixed it... The laser, itself, is wonderful! Its got a great metal aluminum build, nice green glow in the dark clicky button, sometimes a little glitchy, but it works! The beam, its bright! Maybe 3/4ths of a 5mW green at night. REALLY bright dot. If you find the sweet spot in the focus, it burns anything dark, or plastic, matches, gunpowder, paper, etc. Only will burn up to about 2 feet, but I haven't tried alot. The focus, is alright, but it can shift slightly up and down, unfocusing the beam. I guess the threads do not fit exactly, but can focus really good. Definately is waterproof as said, LOVE the flashlight build, its great for the price! ($103 cdn). And if anyone wants, I can post some pictures soon. Now I'm going to try for a green...

Hey nice review. About time some reviewed rayfoss's red laser. If your loooking for a green pm i got a 150mw rayfoss for sale.

I sent my laser back... Believe it or not. I asked Faona if she could exchange it for a rayfoss 150mW green for my red, and she said she could. The diode was tilted at an 85 degree angle, so it was shining on the edge of the lenses, making it have an X for a dot, and the dot was on the right of the halo, and not center of the laser, as the halo was. Jeffd, if I can get my money back, I'll see what I can do about that 150 mW... I only got 65 cdn at the moment, but the red >200mW cost me $103 cdn, but I modded the charger, so I cannot send it back. I'll PM you for further details
