Hi everyone! ive found little info on this laser, and no reviews. so heres mine! i heard another member just ordered one, and i think Ash has one. but no reviews.

link: www.rayfoss.com

so! to start: the host. its really, really solid feeling. its quite small, as youll see in the pictures. it has a really smooth feeling focusing head, and an orange tailcap.

The laser: it burns! of course, its 200mW, so of course it burns. it has a nice red dot, though you cant see the beam in a lit room. but thats what a green laser's for, right? :D it cuts electrical tape, burns through cd cases, pops balloons, lights matches, lights fuse(quite fast, i must say.) and does pretty much everything you can do with a high powered laser:) it never, ever gets hot, and the website says it has no duty cycle. it has an open-can diode, which helps with cooling. the focus is quite strange, it doesnt focus to infinity too well, it turns beyond infinity. so you have to find infinity focus when you want to point at things..but overall, its a great deal! Faona was great with replies, and informed me the test results. she did not tell me the peak output(i didnt ask for it, though.) but she told me the laser was 215mW steady. there was a period right after i bought the laser where she didnt reply, but she eventually replied and apologized about the inconvenience, and gave me a tracking number and test results. overall, great customer service.

The packaging: standard chinese. came in a bubble wrap brown paper bag, with some white boxes inside.

the size: pretty darn small. shorter than the new style dilda, but thicker in diameter.
waterproofing: seems waterproof to me! ive run water over every part, and its stilll working like it didd out of the box. will have pictures soon, i dont haveaccess to my camera right now, but i will by thursday.

PROS:
Burns!:D
waterproof
comes with rechargeable batteries and charger
somewhat visible beam in low light conditions, solid beam at night
great customer service
tested before being shipped
cheap, yet solid
CONS:
focus turns too far; infinity focus is hard to achieve

any questions? feel free to ask! :p

Lol, I think that long period of time where Faona didn't reply was probably me she was replying too I asked too many questions :p but instead of that FBT model I bought the FPT which is no different but its the different color of the host which is cool I have a camera so I'll post some pics and I'll put a video review too. Just have to wait 10 days for it to get here though I just saw it was accepted in Hong Kong so far from track and confirm xD

Good review! looking foward to photos :)
I was thinking of getting a 200 green (adjustable focus) from rayfoss, so it is nice to hear that the customer service was good!
And have you taken the laser into a pool yet? you really should try that, it sounds like it would be really fun

When you fully charge the batteries how much "play" time do you have with it before the batteries start to die?

you said that it came with a battery AND charger? because on the rayfoss website, it only says that the newer $55 model comes with a charger.

Have you checked the power with a LPM, or have you asked Faona for a power meting? (Seeing how your signature says "215mW".
