Since Rayfoss is a distributer and dose not make the lasers I doubt very much if what she is calling an engineer is realy a college grad more like some one trained to look at a LPM several time a day. :undecided:

My o-like order has been shipped with batteries seperate, but my batteries are lithium & it is with Hong Kong post, yet i read in EtherMagic's post that they aren't allwowed to send lithium anymore ?? Everything seems very contradictory & shifty in the world of lasers!, quality & buying them!!

Ok, I finally have everything set to go for my order.
Is there anything I should ask for before placing my order?
Also, should I need to ask if I want the Key switch option over the tail plug option? Its a matter of preference really...

all the models she ships have keys, I'd just ask her to test it on the power meter with and without IR filter and you're ready

Alright I just ordered it, everything went through fine and Faona was very nice and helpful. I will ask of this soon, since I have 24 hours before shipping I can have her test mine out before shipment..
I just hope everything works out fine through customs...

I'm sure it will. I've rarely heard about confiscations, last one I know of was some months ago and the guy was trying to import a bunch of pointers (20 or 30). IIRC, this last year I've never heard of a single problem with customs on normal orders

Confiscations bother me too! I mean a package all written in Chinese & maybe regularly coming into the country & they have things written on them like 'torch' or whatever written on them!! I'm surprised they haven't gotten wise to this with experience! Surely the customs people got nothing to lose but to rip packages apart!!

We have shipped the 200mw(actual test data before shipping is 215mW) foucsable green laser torch out to you by UPS. Thanks!
Small Tips of the laser:
1.Please insert battery "+' towards to tailcap.
2.Please obey laser's duty circle 30-60 seconds on and 5-10 seconds off(for cooling)
3.If you want to do burning test please use materials of black head match,black plastic bag/tape.darken colored balloon as object.(do this test to wear goggles is recommended)
4.Please find shut down the beam aperture window and take out the battery if you not use the laser for a long while.
5.Now is in winter if your local temperature is less than 10dg C then the laser needs several seconds for pre-heat.
