Hi everyone!
Firstly sorry for my bad english, i'm from Hungary. I'm new here, but this forum helped me a lot, so i thougt, I also help with a review if I could.
This is my first post and the first review too, so excuse me if I wrote something wrong.
I have read a lot of reviews here and from companies, so i decided to choose Rayfoss company.
The customer service is just as you wrote here, I am very satisfied with Faona.
I ordered this product from them:

Rayfoss

I only write those things, that are not mentioned on the rayfoss page.
the laser was bigger than I thought and the battery was bigger too. This is my first serious laser so I was surprised on the sizes.
Faona measured the output power for me before she sent it, it was 110 mW. (Without ir filter I think by the reviews in the forum here. I don't have LPM)
The laser has a very good built, it feels solid and heavy. It has a safety lock on the tailcap. It has a momentary button, it has also a good quality. (It's good feeling to push it.)
The laser can do the ordinary tricks, light matches and easily cut tape without focusing too. If I focuse it at maximum, the focal point is about 3-4 cm from the lens and at 5m is a large nice circle (see on picture). Focusing to the infinity the point at 10 m is about 2 cm so it's about 1,7 mrad divergence. The beam is very thin (1mm or thinner), and visible in daylight as well(see on picture, and this picture was taken with normal mode). The beam is amazingly bright at night so if you use it, everyone see it :D. It consumes only 320 mA, I was surprised on it so the battery has a long-long lifetime. In the instuctions there is written that after 1 minute the laser needs 20 sec to cool down, but I think it's only in summer, becouse the laser didn't warmed up for me at all after 1 minute.

It was 80$ with shipping, charger, and two batteries. (16340 - 1000 mAh, Ultrafire18650 - 2400 mAh, both are 3.7V). The charger is not european standard, but easy to convert it. There is written on it that it has a 3.6 V/700 mA output, but it's not true. Later I measured its true output, and it is 4,2 V and after I charged full the batteries, they also have 4,2 V. The charger is very fast btw.
Now some pictures, sorry for quality, I don't have a good cam.

Here is a match burning video: Link to the video
I'm satisfied with rayfoss, it has products with good quality, and good price too. :yh:
Thanks for reading.

The other pen styled laser you compared it with, where did you brought it from? Mind doing a review on it as well?

It's an e-bay like, not from e-bay, but a hungarian e-bay like site. It is <50 mW but I think it is about 30 mW max, and it is modehopeing. It can burn tape with a magnifier, but only if it has warmed up. Until it's under 20 C degree, it works in TEM01 (there is 2 point if you magnify it on the wall) Between 20 C and 30 C degree it works in TEM00, it has about double energy then the TEM01 mode, but only max 30 mW I think. I saw many videos from 50 mW lasers and mine isn't so strong.
It can smoke tape with a strong magnifier, but normally not. I didn't test the balloon popping. It has wide beam, about 2-3 mm, and 1,7 mrad divergence.
Oh and it consumes a lot of power! About 290 mA, so it's eating the batteries very fast, by the way it works with NiMH batteries too (1.2V). I have already regreted that I bought it (it was 40$!!! I know I was stupid, but I don't have a green laser before and I don't know the prices of theese), unfortunately I found this forum after I bought it.

It's a new wish pen. The best source for them is dealextreme.com. If you live in USA you will have to stay with the ledshope model ;)

It is winter here, so I have light skin. If you point it normally to your hand, you only feel it warm. If you focus it, ouch it hurts just like a needle (I tryed it... au). So yes it burns it. But only if you burn it close max 10-15 cm. Why do you want to burn yourself? :p

I'm just asking because when I show lasers to people that is the first thing they usually ask me to do. "Burn my hand". Also its just fun to burn people then they are like owe and don't know where it came from. One person thought they had arthritis lol.

If you want to burn other people, they will see it becouse of the beam and the brightness. Who want to harm anybody? If you would, I wouldn't give you a laser at all.

no i only wish to harm a certain groups of people(terrorists, murderers, rapists)
what i was saying is that.
if you did what you stated in the quote above in america that person could file assualt charges on you for just pointing a class IIIb laser at them
