I recently ordered from priceangels when I saw this thread. http://laserpointerforums.com/f39/p...0mw-10-97-50mw-ones-really-50-70mw-57579.html. I knew john had bought a lpm from laserbee to make his items more accurately listed.
Now i ordered this laser on: Nov 12, 2010 for $12.67 USD
I waited a while and had not got any sort of shipping conformation and i knew john sold out so i thought maybe he forgot to refund me or just forgot to tell me he shipped my laser. Perhaps it was my fault. I dont know.... so i sent him a pm asking if he shipped my laser and i recieved this as a reply: hello,Jeff
it is more than 15 days, it's terrible. sorry
Sorry, can you cancel the order, then you will get your refund. maybe my worker have forgotten to do with it for you, sorry.
If they haven't do anything for you, you can tell me you order number, I will refund you.

I think the laser actually arrived at my doorstep the following day after i sent my pm. John replied like 2 days after i got it.. SO i told john things were ok and did not need a refund and i was just curious if he shipped mine or if he ran out and forgot to refund. ANYHOW! Sorry to ramble..... Now to the details about the LASER! :lasergun:
Id like to apologize because i already gave this to a friend as a early Christmas present and he is currently on vacation. Ill post some meter pics when he comes back.
The laser came in a standard yellow packing envelope like many others have gotten from him. (nothing special i assure you). I carefully opened it to find a white box which was a little beat up from the postal service and it slides off to reveal a black magnetic box which also was a little beat up. I opened the box to find a newwish laser and 2 cheap chinese batteries which i then popped in the laser. The laser dot was "very" bright. Much brighter than any ebay laser i EVER bought. The dot was very clear and the lens was the cleanest lens i had ever seen out of a package. The laser soon dimmed to about half the brightness. (about 30 seconds after use) This was because it was "VERY" cold and i think the battery's were not performing right.... so i put some energizer lithium's in... (yes these are very expensive). The laser was still a little dim so i let it warm up to room temperature and tried again. The dot was dim but not like before and then "BOOM" back to super bright again. I took it up stairs and metered it.... The laser seems to have stability issues but does not mode hop.... The meter revealed it was between 50-65mw. It seems to start off at about 30mw on a cold start then when the crystals are to temperature it peaks at 67mw then fluctuates from 50-65 mw.
Overall this is a "GREAT" laser for a "STEAL". If you are thinking about buying one when they are in stock i would highly recommend it. I did not do any divergence tests but it seems pretty fair. This laser "DOES" burn in case anyone was wondering.... you need to find a way to focus the beam though. The only con is it seems to have some temperature issues but who is going to complain for 13$? If anyone has any questions besides photos i would be more than happy to answer them
