This is just a pre-review meaning there is not much here... yet.
But this is an important bit. Cold start power vs host temperature on a freshly charged AW 18650 2.6Ah with an Kenometer Pro with Ophir sensor.
This is not IR filtered. Using a Hoya R72 filter that passes about 90% deeper than 720nm. I measured about 10% of IR in the total output.
Once its warmed up, its about 320mw +-20%, which is wide range but not too bad. The beam stability is not great - lots mode hopping.
I turned it off @ 4:00 and back on at 4:45 and there was not a major spike and drop. But you can see the host didn't cool down much over that 1:45 duty cycle.
