ok i lied - the review will b posted here later tonight so just watch this space :D
well the wait is over, i finally got my laser today havent really tested it by any means as of yet. i will give u my 1st impressions tho -
the laser came in a box with quality padding/foam inside, the actual case for the laser is a very nice sleek quality plastic finish. when i opened it, it contained a few bits of paper with instrucutions/power out confirmation etc which is good for reassurance.

the laser is slightly bigger than i expected(not that its of any concern) but u know its pure quality when u hold it.
put the battery in, put the level to 2 and pressed the power button -
OMFG ;D easily the most brightest/powerful/quality build laser i have ever seen!!!! it blew me right away, i still cant get over how bright this thing is - the beam is clearly visible in daytime, absolutely no fog/smoke whatsoever. that was on level 2, i switched it to level 4 or 5 and im not kidding, the brightness was doubled  stings me skin instantly(the sting from this laser is like a burning sensation and not a measily sting u get off most cni's.
im yet to try matches or balloons but i shouldnt even need to think what the output of that would be ;D. im yet to witness its true potential, this laser really kicks a$$!
before i got this, the most powerful handheld i owned was a 125mw fusion from wicked - let me get 1 thing straight, the power/brightness of this rpl on level 2 is easily, noticeably "twice" as bright as the fusion this really makes the fusion look non-existent!

id like to shout a big thank you to Jack for making this dream of mine come true, and thanx for a mega discount and all the optics/accessories u threw in. thanks again to Jack and Optotronics who manufacture such amazing lasers, i knew these lasers were powerful but to actually see it for urself is completely another story - no pictures/comments can justify this laser u gotta see it to believe it.
pics/vids more to follow later.

They don't manufacture their lasers. Their primary sales are manufactured by Viasho (RPLs) and also CNI

also got some "starter" videos here, plenty more to come yet.

admiring the beam- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ftN8BHABq0

crystal fun- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K0wC_3hjfnc

4 meter balloon pop- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iLV4mXb-UtE

a weird tunnel- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B4e9pTqeFo4

another strange tunnel- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vUF7XzKBJyk

erm the last time i tried a tunnel it turned out perfectly with a big tunnel and the circle projected on the wall was massive atleast 24".
what was the reason behind gettin these odd results?

well to to be honest i dont really know yet - visually level 4/5 r the brightest. i have had the laser on for about 2-3 minutes on level 5 cotinuously without reaching the auto-shut-off point.

I just bought 1 RPL-225 since June. I always using level 9 for lighting matches within 1 meter range for 10 minutes.... it's cool. ;)
