Drum Roll........!!! Yes you guessed it another DX 200 Review!  ;) :D

Im gonna make it short and sweet. Im really not in the mood for a massive one, so your off the hook! :p

Anyhow, from dx i ordered -
A DX 200mW red
Some CR2 rechargeable batts
A Charger

The Charger and Batts were sent first, acording to DX.

Today I recieved my laser. It was packaged in a small paper envolope and wraped in bubblewrap.
But no batteries or charger. That was ok because i assumed the batteries would come first, i would charge them and wait for the laser to arrive.
But this way is more expensive. Laser comes, too impatient... i have a chemistry exam i desperatly need to revise for but nooooo! STRAIGHT IN THE CAR! down to town. Guess how much a twin pack of cr2's are ... wait for it £10!! thats $20 + petrol.

I thought to myself this better be worth it. Got home, CR2's straight in. Bang!

...
..
.
Nothing

Ok dont panic, just tun the batteries around.

3,2,1.... "HOLY S**T!! THIS THINGS BRIGHT"
This is honestly the brightest red i have ever seen.
It comes close to some greens I have!

I had my thinking head on while i was in town looking for the cheapest batteries, and i picked up a box of matches. Good job because this thing EATS matches!
Its crazy!

THE DX 200 HAVING ITS TEA

I had a good play with it for a good half hour, Its pretty neet.

The size is smaller than i expected. And it has quite a quality feel to it. Apart from the tacky warning sticker, so i removed it (please nobody get on their high horse and say "but what if 5year old jimmy gets hold of it, he wont know how dangerous it is" because there is no jimmy. Its just me, and Ive just found out how dangerous it is!  ;D)

Hear are a few pics of it next to 1 or two of my other lasers for size comparison.

Next To A CNI Black/Gold-

Next To An Aries Style Laser-

*looks somewhat smaller than that daddy CNI hey!*

Anyhow, ive gotta revise.

Bottom line. BUY ONE! And sorry if people are sick of these reviews! Haha!

Cheers Guys!

There can never be too many DX200 reviews :)

Those are some really nice pictures you took there! Very crisp, even at close range.

PHIL! Holy crap, man! are you back for good this time? :D
Shouts of glee aside, that was a pretty good review. How's about sending it off to Andy to get it's output measured? (And your "Aries" over there... I remember you getting that... I always wondered how it turned out. :p)

Yeah I think im back for good on here now dude. My "aries" gave me problems, so that got me banned of LC, haha what a supprise!
Im back on there a bit now, but here is so much more active. This feels like home now.
I have a Burning BluRay from Skram0 on the way so expect a bigger review of that.
But 2 lasers ordered in about a week must mean that im back into them for the time being. So much invested money in this hobby. Hehe :D
Hope your ok, its been a while since i have seen some old LC people. :D ;D

Glad you're back!  :D
Sucks that your CNI gave you that much trouble, though. I've had 2 TL's go kaput on me recently... never buying from them again, needless to say. :p

Yeah my original "aries" was insane. No mode hops, sooooo powerfull. But the key was dodgy, all it needed was a new key. They send me another key...it was crap also (the notch was not prounounced , if anyone has one)...all it needed was a good key. And i sent it back and recieved an "ok" laser with a good key. It mode hopps and isnt as powerfull. But i guess its ok. You get what you pay for hey. :D

Haha.. yeah. I'd volunteer to test it, but for the price of shipping across the pond and back, I could almost get one of my own... ;D
