A quick review of my O-Like <200mW transformable green laser

Payment sent on Oct. 8 '09 and acknowledged on the 16th. On Nov. 2 I e-mailed Susie as the tracking stated it was headed to Uruguay instead of Canada. Later that day I received a reply stating it was an HK post issue and that all would be fine. Nov. 18 I received an e-mail stating the package had been returned at that it would be sent out again. Package received Dec. 3.
Product
The laser and it's components came in a small cardboard box with each piece individually wrapped in bubble sheet and packing tape (I did not request individual shipping). My laser is exactly as shown on the web page minus the "Ancient Laser V6" printing. Really though, what exactly is that supposed to mean?! The 18650 Trustfire battery had 4.2v on it and the cap and extender tube went together smoothly. The keyed tail cap was a little bit loose, but some light pressure with the key tightened things up fine. It has not been an issue.
The Beam
There are quite a few artifacts in the lens which make for a lot of "spatter" around the dot. With the lens turned out (focus near ~2cm), it is quite obvious that the laser puts out TEM20 then TEM02. Some misalignment in the lens causes the beam to exit at a slight angle from the body.
Use
Pointing at night is a joy with this laser and stargazing is it's primary duty. The dot is clearly visible during the daytime and the beam as well when my wife is cooking
The laser burns through electrical tape with ease, pops balloons and lights red matches instantly (takes a few seconds on CR123 battery). I tried burning up to a distance of about 4 feet without any noticeable reduction in performance.

Overall I'm satisfied with the laser. The quality is lower than what I had hoped for but compared to $400 or so dollars for an equivalent (power wise) Laserglow, it's an easy choice to make once. I'll definitely be looking for better quality in the future.
