Hello people, today I am going to make my first review of the NOVA x-25 series laser. To start off, my experience with NOVA was very satisfactory. I paid a total of 87 $ for the laser and the shipping costs. They shipped the laser to me via UPS and it arrived to my location only five days after having processed the purchase. They included an aluminum case and added two extra laser-warning stickers like I asked them to do. They also included a user manual and mentioned the average and peak output of this particular model. The packaging was well done and there were no signs of tampering with the laser itself. I also didn't even have to pay any taxes upon receival, which put a big smile on my face! Now about the laser: The finishing quality is top notch and the momentary clicky on/off button feels very solid and wont stop functioning anytime soon hopefully. The beam is perfectly perpendicular to the surface of the aperture; its diameter is hard to measure, but I would guess it's around 0.6-0.7 mm at the aperture and the divergence has been calculated to be around 1.046 mrad. My model averaged at 26.3 mW and peaked at 27.4 mW, which proves that NOVA lives up to their name and provide correct specifications on their websites with almost all of their lasers being over-spec. This laser has the most perfect TEM00 dot I have ever seen in my life! There is absolutely no lens splashing and the laser is extremely stable, without any visible mode hopping and/or visible output variance. Please visit NOVA's website for more general specifications regarding this laser and let me know if I have forgotten to mention anything in this review, but don't ask for burning videos or pics because this model does not have the required output power to burn, but rather be used as a pointer. Hope you enjoyed the review!
