Senkat, I know you only reviewed the x-85 not the 125, but do you think it would be worth paying the like I think 20 extra dollars to get the x-125 over the DL 125?? I mean the case it came in looked great and I would like to buy the goggles and the laser from the same place?? What do you think, or what does anyone else think???

yea I think i'm gonna fork over the extra cash and try out nova lasers. Could you send me the promo code now, so I can see how much I need to get?? Also, do they accept paypal?? If not would you be willing to allow me to send you cash through paypal and have you purchase the laser for me, since I have no credit card to purchase with??? If you purchased for me I would include some extra cash and have it shipped to your house, if your willing, and have you test the output, then have you ship it to me
let me know how this sounds.

They don't accept paypal, I already asked. :'( Fortunatly I live really close to their HQ so maybe I can work something out.


This is what they told me:

NOVALASERS WROTE:
"We do not accept PayPal as this payment method does not pass our security standards. Non-credit card payment methods that we accept are Postal Money Orders which you can purchase from your local postal outlet and upon receipt get immediately cleared and your items shipped, personal cheque which has a hold, or bank wire transfer."





BIG EDIT: If anyone gets the novalasers promo code to work, could you tell me how, it dosen't seem to work for me! :eek:

Moderator - post the info from the email that Nova sent you with the promo code info in it....I am not positive it works like it should ? Read up in their FAQ's to see how it works....

Ha, The proper term for car audio systems in ghetto terms these days is "ICE"

Bling is for your gangsta toof caps.

I having turned 18 in January have a "high bass" car audio system from the good ol' high school days *sigh, i try my best to keep it low in the neighborhood.

My neighbors mainly hate me because of fireworks...what more can i say.

Hey SenKat, how long did it take for your laser to arrive from Nova?

I ordered my x105 on Sunday June 3rd and was wondering what to expect. I chose the free USPS Airmail option. Nova's website said about 6 business days. I was curious what your experience was.

Where are you located ? They sent everything to me via TNT global express, so it was here the day AFTER they emailed me the tracking info. It was pretty funny, as the tracking info said "Held in customs for inspection" and as I was reading that, there was a knock on the door ! Viola ! Everyting :) Very nice care package from them.

I live right outside of Philadelphia

I was trying to go easy on my budget so I saved money two ways: 1. I just ordered the X105 without all the goodies because I have a nice metal cigar box for my lasers. I also chose their USPS Airmail option which is free for orders over $200. Everything said and done it's on the way to my home for $208.05, a tremendous deal for a 105mw+ green laser!

I thought I wouldn't mind the wait, but you know how that goes. The funny thing is that I have plenty of perfectly good lasers to play with but the anticipation still kills me :D

I'm real cheap so would the extra $20 for the case and other goodies be worth it? I guess I shouldn't be so cheap considering I'm about to dump $220 in an awesome laser anyway but do you recomend I get that stuff along with the order?

I would say, YES.  The case cannot be found anywhere :(  It is very nice, and well worth it.  With the Nova membership (that is for life) when you refer people, you get a credit for referring them.  And oyu get lightyears to start out with !  So - it's good all the way around.  Plus, the cardboard box that is the norm ?  Well, it sucks ! LOL  The point is, yes - it's definitely worth it.

Actually, if you don't want the case and all that, paypal ME the money you would spend on it, and I'll order it, toss in my $20.00 and get a spare case. :)

Hi all,

Just to follow up, I received my X105 today, only 8 days with the free shipping!

It arrived safe and sound. When I'm done playing with it I'll take some pics and vids.

I can't believe this much power can come from a little pen sized laser :eek:
