First of all, this is one heck of a sexy laser. It has an elegant ergonomic titanium shell, but underneath all the pretty... Is raw power. Wow, just wow... For it's size it packs quite a punch. I ordered the 200mW red titanium laser pointer, and as usual with JETLASERS it was under rated. It actually peaks higher than than (props to Hakzaw for the use of his LPM). It came with a diffraction grating and extension tube, as well as a key switched removable end cap. Now the only negative thing I hav to says that I have not been able to push the driver with just one AAA battery, it seems to require the use of the extension tube, then again I'm using walmart brand alkaline batteries, so maybe that has something to do with it. I will mention that I got this through a group buy from JETLASERS, and the experience if you have not been a part of a GB was very easygoing. And to that point I would like to thank both Gray from JETLASERS and our very own HAKZAW for their work to make it all go as smooth as possible.

So jealous. Hak was trying to lure me into this group buy and I almost bit but my girlfriend would have disowned me if I bought anymore laser equipment before we move :(

I cant wait for some pictures!

That might be a pretty safe bet. I have a bunch of AAs that came with some flashlight hosts I bought and even fresh out of the package 2 of them wont even allow an xbox controller to turn on... let alone play for a few minutes

Edit: I also noticed a significant increase in power on a 532nm switching from bargain Hyvee brand batteries to Duracells so try some good batts.

Uhm, I'm gonna second yob... PICS!!!!

As a side note, as Helios already said, quality batteries can make quite a bit of difference. My 405nm pen does ~120mW on cheap batteries, but over 150mW with good batteries.

Im buying the 635nm ti-pen from GB #5 and I would also like to see some pictures.. The only ones I have seen were from jetlasers.net and hak LPM-ing one. I'd like to see some nice user pics..

Thanks! Glad that you are happy with this mere laser pen. A single 10440 battery suffices to power this ti red laser pointer, so the back-up battery compartment will be put aside. A shame is that it's not focus adjustable, so the 100mw or 200mw output power cannot burn anything. It's just a pen anyway. :)

HEY DJNY,
The ti B hosts are available now and see the pics here.

These first models are only in 445nm and 405nm 300mw now and jetlasers is sorting out a reasonable prices at the moment.

They are not waterproof now and we would upgrade them to water resistent later. It might take a while.

Thanks and have a nice weekend!

I may be wrong but I believe thats an older, discontinued model..

Nup, that was the newer, improved model that was meant to replace an older one.

@OP sounds like you got a great laser!

JETLASERS do not disappoint! Great quality and great communication!

I can not speak more highly about JETLASERS!

DJNY-- are you asking about blank hosts to use for builds?? I dont think Gray is understanding your question, if that is the case. AFAIK JETL has not sold any blank hosts and may not be wanting to-- I have sent for answers on this today. I will PM you the response i get. Your last post makes me think you are not looking for blank hosts, if so n/m. that host is extremely nice. Hope you get one and show us the PICS!!

Len, not the blank host, I want a >250mW 532nm laser in this host for more than 8 months more than everything else. If Gray can make this, would be AWESOME :D
