That's the whole point of me buying a bunch to test and let everyone know. All of their modules regardless of label have been way overspec. The 5mw 532 ones have one review and it says that it is way more than 5mw but wasn't LPM'd. Expecting these will be at least 50mw but if they are not, hopefully I will be the only one to have purchased them unless someone is looking for a 5mw unit. This is a fact finding mission and I should be able to report by the end of the week.
I've got lots of plans for all of them if they are overspec. Actually, at this point I have more hosts than modules coming:)
You can always but the single aaa pens as they are a huge bargain. Just ordered 5 more of them this morning for more units to play with.
I've had a couple people ask me if I would sell them a module or pen but I plan on keeping them to mess with and anyone can just order them and have them in a couple weeks. Not interested in reshipping things that anyone can get so inexpensively. Would have no problem LPMing someones for free though:)

Once again my Fasttech stuff seems to get stuck in various sorts in CA:( Thought I would have a bunch of things by the end of the week to report on but it's not looking good.
No changes for lasers on their site yet...

Pman, I feel ya! Everytime something of mine arrives from FastTech, it arrives in San Fran, and then sits there for-freakin-ever! It usually takes nearly as long to get to Texas from California as it does to get across the ocean!

Stupid USPS...

Yeah..just checked my tracking...DAY 3 in San Fran?? WTF??

3 packages sent on different days from Fasttech. This is what is happening to the one that should arrive first:

Processed Through Sort Facility
May 17, 2013, 5:28 pm
ISC SAN FRANCISCO (USPS)

Processed through USPS Sort Facility
May 18, 2013, 5:42 pm
SAN FRANCISCO, CA 94128

Depart USPS Sort Facility
May 18, 2013
SAN FRANCISCO, CA 94128

Processed through USPS Sort Facility
May 20, 2013, 8:13 am
SAN FRANCISCO, CA 94128

So, it still hasn't left yet and it's the 22nd. Takes another 7 days once it leaves there to get to me:( Of course Monday is a holiday too so looking like the end of next week before I can report anything.

Almost everything that comes thru NY is processed and out the door WAY quicker. Thinkin' international first class mail is really low on their priority out there. Wonder if the same thing happens if you live in the state?

The second package has the same "processed thru only the first sort facility" and the status hasn't changed since the 17th so it has sat for days and hasn't gone thru the 3 other sorts before it will finally say depart out of the state.

Packages usually go from Hong Kong to SF in 2 days and then the holdup is all USPS.

At least I'll have more stickers and another host before any of the Fastteck stuff arrives.

So talking to customer service about getting a replacement for a dud i received. I asked why i can't find the 50mw module to re-purchase it and this is the reply:

Hi Marc,

Unfortunately it is discontinued since PAYPAL restrict the sale for Laser Module thst is above 5mW due to the safety reason. Thank you for your understanding.

How about we issue you 50% of 1pcs as store credit so you can use it during check out since you prefer to avoid the hassle of returning?

wannaburn called it this way quite a while back and unfortunately was completely correct.
I would be surprised if the 5mw ones are not overspec though IF they actually look like the pics they show.
Grab the single aaa pens while you can! You can easily remove the very small module/lens assembly from the host and use it in other things if you want as I intend to do. It all comes out as 1 piece.
Leather strap and pliers with good technique = no damage to anything and you can put it right back in the same host after a color change if you don't like the white. Hard to save the clip though (don't like the clip anyways as it points the laser at your face)

I am interested in how mush these violet modules will put out. Does anyone have a 100mW violet module from fasttech when they used to sell them?

As soon as I get any of my shipments I promise to report my findings immediately. The only thing I can absolutely recommend without hesitation right now is those aaa pens as they have very low IR and very good output. I would hate to see others buy the other modules when I've got a bunch on the way that I can report on in case they are a waste of $.

I was thinking of getting one or two before so I'll definitely be interested to see how these turn out.
