Anyway... I got mine today... so... here's my impression:

"OK... this is it? :-? :-? What good is this? It doesn't even spin by itself!! :mad:"

5 minutes laser... I mean... later... X-85 is BETTER than new...

"HOLY ****!!!! :eek: :eek: BOY THIS THING CLEANS THE LASER OUT!! :D :D"

Ya... that sums it all! This is by far the best result I have EVER gotten cleaning my laser. The little one also works great, plus I got it for free, shipping was free, and the thing fits in your pocket or in any case. This thing is a laser's best friend. Jeez... I can't get over how perfect the beam is! AixiZ lenses love this thing too! ;D :D

oh yea didnt pay for shipping
i mean its probably cheaper if i went down to their hq and bought it there

at first i was kinda scared to clean my laser with it
but then after reading ur post ddl, i went on ahead and cleaned the littttttle splatter i had on my CNI
perfect now, absolutely perfect ;D

YAY ! I just got mine in today as well ! I will be giving it a spin tomorrow...Daedal - what do you mean it doesn't spin by itself ? Mine does...did you buy the cheap one ? LOL !!!

I ordered mine on August 28th, 2007 it was post marked on August 31st, 2007.....and was received today, 6 September, 2007 !! How's THAT for exact ? I live in San Antonio, Texas and ordered at 3pm, CST :)

So....is this really worth it????

Also......If you are cleaning a CNI based laser.....are you having to disasseble any part of the laser to clean the lens??

I wanted to get one for my Nova X-105....but just can't see how in the world you can fit that brush through that small appature hole!!!!

My warning decal manages to bridge across both "gold rings"....

I also don't want to toast my warranty!

LarryQ - Email Nova - tell them you need a new sticker for your laser, so you can remove the aperature cap, since it bridges the gap. Removing the aperature cap is something that Nova ENCOURAGES - since you have to take it off in order to attach their lense accessory ! ;-) I am sure they would be happy to send you a new sticker at the cost of shipping or something, maybe even free ? Ask nicely - tell them that annoying Greg tod you to ask :p Better yet, if you are going to order anyhting anytime soon - ask them to just slide it in the package with the item ! :p

OK...but FIRST..
Let's clarify....

The appature end is GOLD.....
If you look at the laser ..pointing to the LEFT ..

The gold end goes back @ 1/32 inch......

Then there is a black section almost 1 inch long....

Then another GOLD BAND.....@ 1/32" wide...

After that..the ON/Off button..then the "Clip"(Gold)...then the endcap (gold)

At what point is this supposed to come apart???
