I did the test again but now with a 445nm H1600 diode set at 500mA.
The other test with the 300mW 638nm Mitsubishi diode can you find here .
This time I found a half-threaded lens probably from O-like but I am not sure.

This isn't an all comprehensive lens test but a quick comparison test between my available lenses.
For each measurement I took 60 seconds read-out from my Bluefan LPM.
Between the test I switch the lens and take a 5 min cooldown.
All the test was done with a dot to infinity.

how does the dot (bar) look with the 9mm diode lens compared to the g1-2?

Can you take a picture of the half threaded lens?

I find it indistinguishable from the G1/G2 lens.

Here is the picture of the half-threaded lens. Don't mind the teflon tape.

Yea that is a ton of tape.

That is the new Aixiz half threaded. Same lens elements and configuration as the full threaded. If you are seeing any power differences it is just lens to lens variations. Not a lot of consistency in the three element lenses.

The O-Like on the other hand is a whole different beast. I was wondering why you did not see a bigger bump with it.

Also on the 808nm 3 element lens can you check to see what color it is reflecting. That thing should be reflecting most of the 445 light right back into the diode. To see it match up with a 405-445 coated three element I would say there has to be something strange going on there.

YUp, I've got one of the o-like half threaded lenses, and there are a lot less threads on it than Blords and there is an o-ring on it after the threads.

I think this half-threaded lens is also pretty old. It came with the Ehgemus build and a rkst driver.
The lens was used inside the host without a focusing ring. It was a fixed focus laser.

The 808nm lens has a blueish tint, definitely build for red diodes. It does perform worse than the 445nm lens.
