This is my first review, I'll try to follow the pattern I'm seeing on most reviews.
Ordering & Shipping
I made a little diary for myself on this matter, I'll write down all events from the order until it arrived at my door:
(Notice that I am using the DD/MM/YY 0-24h date system so.. 13- 1 pm 14- 2pm 15- 3 pm ...)
30/09/2012 17:00(5pm) - Ordered it on the online store
The original order was a 1,2W Rifle and an extra pair of glasses.
30/09/2012 19:00(7pm) - Received the Email and Paid, Also, I sent an email asking for EMS shipping.
1/10/2012 - 2:00(2am) - Payment accepted
2/10/2012 - Email answered, he will be sending via EMS but he won't be able to process the order until 03/10
12/10/2012 Order not processed yet, on the same day, Lazerer released the new 1500mW Rifle, I sent an email asking for him to cancel the extra pair of glasses and with this price, send me the 1,5W version instead of 1,2W.
13/10/2012 Max: "No problem, we can do this for you"
16/10/2012 Order finally shipped (Counting from the date I changed the order, it was actually pretty fast) --- ETA 7 Days.
29/10/2012 Requested a new tracking number, mine wasn't working and I started to get worried.
1/11/2012 Max answered my email, package was stopped at the customs or something, because of the lithium batteries (16340s).
2/11/2012 ---- 6/11/2012 We exchanged a lot of emails about what we were going to do, we decided to ship it without the batteries, I should then get them somewhere else.
7/11/2012 Item shipped again
8/11/2012 I had to get batteries somewhere, somebody on the forum told me that I could order from lighthound.

Little Lighthound (off-topic) review
8/11/2012 Ordered (A pair of 16340s and a charger)
11/11/2012 Shipped(USPS first class)
04/12/2012 FINALLY arrived
All the items came in a very good package, I felt it was protected and sealed. It even included a little LED flashlight Key holder.
USPS package
Bubble plastic(not sure how you call it, its a literal translation from portuguese)
Inside
Lighthound: 9/10

Back to Lazerers:
28/11/2012 Item was taxed at customs, I had to pay the equivalent to USD 90 to get it.
30/11/2012 The item was at my local post office, I got it there
The batteries arrived on 04/12/2012,so , it took ~2 months from the date I ordered until I turned it on. I'll consider this an exception, since I live in Brazil and everything takes longer to get here.
I would give the shipping a 7/10
Unboxing
It came on a really nice aluminium package, all of this inside layers and layers of paper and plastic, It was very protected. I will let the pictures talk by themselves:
Mail Package
Around the aluminium case
Inside the case, notice that the batteries aren't there.
9/10
The Laser
Some specs first:
It operates on 2x (3,7V/550mAh) 16340 lithium batteries (AKA RCR123A)
The beam follows the expected class IV blue laser pattern, its rectangular and the divergence is not "the best", but the high power of the beam makes it still able to light a match ~10 meters away, if focused on infinity.
I have no LPM, but according to Max, it overspecs(at 1657mW). I am not able to deny that since it "BURNS LIKE HELL".
The duty cycle is 60/60, which is decent, not great, but decent.
The laser feels very good on your hand, I really like it.
It comes with a lens kit, I won't be posting the pictures of all the lenses on the kit, but it includes those effects we all know.
Some pictures:
Size comparision with a Rayfoss 200mW 532nm laser.
I wonder what is a Class IVb laser... :wtf:
The beam is INSANELY bright, even compared to a 532nm beam:
Do not look at the dot if you are indoors(tight spaces)
Its Very, very bright:
"Benchmark" Burning video: Match, CD case, black tape...
The Laser itself deserves a 9/10
Result 8,3/10 -- Very Good
If I missed anything, let me know
