Recently I was fortunate enough to get Daguin to build a matching set of 3 lasers for me. The original FS thread is here...

As a new member, I knew I wanted to work with a veteran forum member, both for my safety and to support the community. Daguin was ever so nice. I originally purchased the 405nm in a C6 host with Mr. Crouse FR. I am a fan of Mr. Crouse's work and with Daguin I knew the work would be of the highest quality and a gauge by which I would judge future builders.
There is a great deal of history that we new members miss. There was a time Daguin informed me that matching sets of lasers was a common thing. Nobody seems to do this anymore  He custom built a 445nm and a 660nm in matching hosts and threw in a third Mr. Crouse FR :thanks:
Alecto is a 405nm at 500mw
Tisiphone is a serious monster. A 445nm running at 1.5w. I didn't pay attention to duty cycles when I was taking pictures. I had started with the 200mw red and worked my way up. Wow. I understand the need for heatsinking with these high power lasers .
Magaera, a 660nm at 250mw...
A few more pics...
In closing I just wanted to say how much I appreciate what Daguin did for me. It wasn't just the lasers, it was the thought that went into giving me a range of powers and wavelengths that would allow me a new enthusiast the opportunity to get a feel for what these differences mean. It is true, even though the red laser has the lowest power it "appears" the brightest, while the higher powered lasers are not. LPM's are the only way to go to determine power.

Thanks for looking, Happy Lasing

p.s. Since taking these pictures I have constructed a beam shroud per Sigurthr's excellent suggestion. All pictures were taken with goggles on Vapor provided by an E-cig, the only good use I've found for them
