Well, here's my review. It seems this laser is pretty "common" among the laser community for it's price to power ratio. I think I paid around 82$ after shipping, and purchasing safety glasses.

I'm not going to go into crazy details with this one, but I'll try and include as much important/pertinent information as possible.
Now, what I also purchased on top of the laser, was some blue goggles. I mean, they're red in terms of the wavelength they block, but they look blue lol

I didn't take any pics of the plastic or shipping box, though I suppose I could have. I was a little excited and instead of taking pics of everything, I just ripped open the packaging and wanted to get at my laser ;-)
So the first thing I'll show is the goggles. They say T-Rex on them, and I will fully admit that while the laser is dimmer, I wouldn't exactly trust my eyes with these totally... The beam can't burn anything through them, but regardless while they're better than nothing I STILL am extremely careful with this laser and these goggles.
The laser also DID come with a battery and charger. The charger is one of those cheaper wall-direct chargers. I don't really trust it either, but it'll serve it's purpose anyway.
The battery is a RCR123A battery style/type. It's 3.7V and measured 4.04 (voltage not found?) Volts when I hooked it up to my DMM
Here's the host with the tailcap removed.
Here's with the battery in, and with the clicky tailcap underside.
Just a couple words about the tailcap: It's VERY solid. The tailcap screws onto the back nicely, there's no creaks and such, and the clicky part itself is VERY solid. It's nice in that you won't "accidentally" turn on your laser, but it's also hard to turn off too (within reason)
To give a good idea of what the size is actually like, I did a direct comparison between it and a regular pen host from PriceAngels.
For those of you who prefer actual measurements, here's the laser against a ruler
Okay, onto the beamshots.
Well... This is supposed to be around 300mW which is entirely plausable. (No I STILL don't have myself a LPM but I'm working on that)
Here's the dot on a wall that is "Tan Eggshell" colored.
This is a quick shot on my table. The dot is MUCH smaller looking than in the pic here.
The next 4 pics were attempts at beamshots without any smoke, fog, burning food or anything else that would enhance the beam.
And yes, I still have a crap phone-camera too so that's a huge contributing factor too.
This shot is the dot at around 25 feet. Again, it looks MUCH larger than it actually was.
I will have to say, I'm not/haven't been a huge fan of red lasers (650nm mostly) however I DO like this laser. It's strong, burns VERY well, and the focusing ring is WELL lubricated. It's extremely easy to focus but doesn't come out of focus very easily which is a nice balance.
Now for the videos.
Two matches and a hand burning. The hand burning wasn't bad and was by accident - I turned the laser on and went to pick up the match... and stuck my hand RIGHT on the focal point.
Needless to say I couldn't find the focal point with the match right away but figured it out shortly enough.
The next one is just some DVD spindle burning/etching
A complete side note - I don't listen to lady gaga in the background on purpose - my roommate is playing DJ Hero LOL
Anyway - the whole concensus is that I really like this little laser. I like the side of the portable, and the duty cycle isn't bad. If you let it go too long it will definitely start to warm up. I forget what Suzie said about the duty cycle, but I don't think I'd leave it for any more than 1 minute on, if even that long.
