Man jumping from my album and think thread alone was a task. Hit back three times. Paste pic. Back to album forward three times. Write a bit .. Back three time paste. Man it took forever when your waiting for a phone to load....oops now the phone is freezing redo. I feel like I'm spoiled right now being on an ipad. Lol I could have bought a couple pc's for what I paid for all my handheld lasers.. But what fun is that? :)

Thanks blaster for the comments. And this Australia thing really gets me thinking about how to get around it every time I talk to you. But I'm sure the gears have been turning in your head about that topic daily. Especially since " the incident " damn Crown Jewels.
Yes the cogs are always going around and around ...its not only losing lasers to F@#$%N customs its the postage service it always takes weeks to get anything from overseas, and so you maybe waiting all that time just to get a letter from customs,Telling of the joy one of their customs officers is going to have with your laser in the near future.
When he takes it home and has the fun with it.

Yes, it is on. That may be what killed my batteries. Then you could just keep it keyed on, then plug the last part in when you need it. You don't have to key it off, or even have the key in, every time.

DTR and 520nm. Great combination and you can choose the module that will work best for your host.
Nice collection! Hard to stop collecting and wanting more frequencies once you start.
You really stepped out and contributed with your GITD project and explained it for all to try.

Thanks so much pman. Honestly I would love to see a bunch of people try because of the simple way I found to do an elaborate host. Maybe the ones that didn't want to risk trying at first ,will see that it's not hard at all.

Lol thanks for the " encouragement" Tony! Yeah next step is surely a 589 473 and I'm sure my wallet will know when I click buy. I've really never even ordered anything off the Internet until I came across this forum. Now I do feel more comfortable with the whole forum experience. I've found people here that I consider more concerned with others success then the people I associate with here in Baltimore. I really want to thank everyone here for all the help , and the willingness so sell their products to a very wet behind the ears noob like myself. This hobby has really kept me going In a better direction and I'm very grateful to the community.

Yeah the 589 nm will really give your wallet a good shake up. Yeah its a great forum, people get a bit grumpy at times over protocol but well that's the way it is there's rules and guidelines to follow ,but people really try to help you out when you have tried the search first .....the main word being First.

Yeah I still see a couple members that start a thread that they should have searched first for. They get answered anyway. And the next day I see a thread by the same user asking about the same thing!! What's the deal. I'm not one to dole out neg rep but damn that's a little crazy. People took the time to answer you and your just slapping them in the face by posting another thread asking for advice on the same thing, like the first advice wasn't good enough or helpful.

Be VERY careful. about negative REP. I try to just stay away from things that really annoy me as there are so many other threads/posts to spend time looking at. It is VERY easy to get sucked into wanting to pull a smack-down on some of the really bad stuff. Found that there are plenty of others who are more than willing to "handle" the situations when they arise. It will just bring you down.
I fully admit there have been more than a few instances when I really wanted to lash out but I didn't and I'm better for not doing it. We do have mods that can take a look.

Lets not talk about 589.... It's the one nm that I would love to own in the >100mw range:( Why oh why does it have to be soooo expensive! Too bad it hasn't taken a turn like the 520nm did. Not so hard anymore to get a >100mw one at a reasonable price.

The only reason why I sent that low powered 34mw unit to you tmack was just to make a point about just how little power you need in a 532nm to still amaze people.

Honestly though I wish I could get some of you guys to try a laser projector rather than spending big $ again on another hand held unit. If you could see one in person you would want one. How many people can say they own a real laser projector let alone ever saw a 532nm pointer.
You know how you have 3 dimensions when you can see the beam of a pointer. Well, throw a small amount of fog on and you immersed in a surreal 3 dimensional experience.
I believe that hak is correct in suggesting the LK-PD2 as a good place to start as it can do things right out of the box that others can't. You can buy the unit and have fun with it in all its auto modes while you save up for the QS software like I did. Hak thinks I'll probably get it by the end of this week. 500-600 Watts is more than enough power for most people especially running it in your house. VERY bright.
I don't know of a single person who didn't like their purchases from the GB that hak runs. He has a few different ones right now that he's gathering names on. Some people liked their units so much they bought multiples as you can daisy chain them with the software (see hak for details on this).

I will say something in a pm but I don't give negative rep. Nor will I in the future. I'm just not out to tarnish anyone name even if I don't agree with them :)

And I like the 34mw pman! Fits right in my pocket protector "snort" :D

hak/len is the man concerning the projector stuff and he has gotten really involved in it.
The only thing I can offer is what I have seen with my own. Just know that I would NEVER try to steer someone wrong about things. It's just not in my nature.
I can't help posting about my experience with the one I have and getting a license from the QS people so I can mess around with it before the actual software comes.
It sounds like you don't have a computer right now and if that is so I would steer you toward either the 3D less expensive one where I believe you have full control over everything on the unit itself plus a remote OR go for the PD2 as the special built in effects wheel is really something. You could buy QS later at some point and have a totally controllable projector.
Many have purchased more than 1 PD2 they were so impressed.
I would just like to see some members try one out as they already own so many other things and newer members before you end up spending so much money without seeing something like these units.
I know that it sounds sometimes like len is pushing them but that is because he is really excited about them. I am totally willing to back him up on this since I have first hand experience but only with the PD2.
My understanding is that you can't get anything like these fir this kind of $ here in the states. Think he has even sold one or two on ebay for quite a lot more. I realize that they are Chinese made and not American but the construction looked top notch when I inspected mine. If there's any problem, the issues have been taken care of VERY quickly too so no worries.

He sent me a very informative pm on what he's got going on concerning projectors. I think I know what kind I would like but I don't know if I can come up with the money in time for his group buy so I don't know where that leaves me. I know exactly what you guys mean about owning many handhelds when a projector is so impressive . After hearing much about them I'm pretty convinced that this is my next move. I just don't want to miss the group buy and thus my opportune to own one of these.
