Man I read through the review and thought it was much larger until I saw in it the picture with the pen. Damn that is a nice laser. Thanks for sharing.:beer:

Sorry that i forgot to mention that ti B laser can also be constantly on. "screw the tailcap clockwise Tight until the laser emits the beam light." It works as "momentarily on" when the tailcap is not tightened enough.
A lite version of user manual is downloadable here: Howto Ti B Green, violet or Blue Lasers . The focusing part is kinda tight at first but i guess it will be more smoothly after being used often.
Hey DTR, you'r right. It's a bit smaller than expected and it would be more robust if it is made with 18650 host. Fitting a coat pocket is no problem for this small unit but to hold it in hand, the body is still a bit long while shortening it a bit may be cooler.
To fit either two cr123a or a single 14500 batteries, the battery compartment has to be this long so far.

Yep, great laser and all... However, the tailcap twist on/off has been driving me nuts... mostly because it was accidentally turning on in my pocket (which hurts)
I modded the tailcap to a rear on/off click switch.
Original:
Holes drilled for later, will hang tritium vails from it. (They are on thier way)
Original switch assembly presses out (From tailcap face towards the threads).
And now a generic click switch rather then a twist switch.

That is a pretty cool mod! Might just have to shoot you a PM... I HATE having to use twist on flashlights to set mode... just doesn't feel right to me. This is the first such laser I'm getting though.

Yeah, I have a few keychain vails I ordered ages ago.
However I need three for this one, so 2 more of those are on the way
(vails are about 2mm X 23mm, in a 1.5" plastic case)
Now 2 more and its done.

VERY nice mod there-Jetlasers should offer you a position--your pics are great- nice close-ups!! I wont mod mine- the way it is works for me. (also I lack the skillz to do what you did--lol)

Ironically its not that hard to do even for those without the equipment. Im sure a bench vice could be jerry rigged as a makeshift press with some scrap metal, I just used a hydraulic press to remove the switch because I had it handy.
After that, the most fancy equipment I used was my mill (for its stability) to drill some holes.. thats about it. Originally I thought I would need to machine some kind of custom set screw to hold the switch in, but I managed to do it with some spare parts and epoxy (to hold everything together).
I personally have no problems operating the twist switch, and don't mind it. Its just the nature of a twist switch when carrying on my person, just makes it so easy to accidentally turn it on without me knowing it.
Aside from the embarresment of burning myself, with a titanium host, powerfull laser and short duty, It can be a hazard to the laser itself if it is left on for a long time unoticed, and may cause damage.
IMHO offcoarse, obviously if you carry it with the battery removed that could be avioded. Like you said, its your own preferance and style.
