this is really nice from them, 7.5% at these prices must be a lot of money.

what was the final cost?

Average output and peak output is pretty close.
It would be interesting to compare the stability of Herc with a similar TEC-cooled DPSS laser.
Do you know anybody with a LPM ?

@Void: This may help, it's a graph of my Hercules (with test parameters) on a LB1 Thermal LPM:

In all fairness, these parameters and settings are close to the absolute limit of my laser, but even "pushing the envelope" doesn't seem to affect the stability at all. Hope this helped!

Good to know, Glenn - Justin was telling me yesterday he has one sitting on his desk that's doing like 775mW settled, just might have to have you get me a price on that monster ;)

Now THERE's a familiar story ... My first 6X in a really cool custom anodized Kryton (built by Daguin himself) lasted all of 24hrs until my "better half" decided Blu-Ray was prettier than the 125mW greenie I had bought for her - On the upside, I was able to pick up a nice polished Kryton on the cheap so we both have matching 6X's woo hoo!

Oh, BTW, M - Laserglow: Blue & Green Laser Pointer, Alignment & Lab Lasers (it's not too often you find these used, so unless you are willing to wait for a LONG time, just sell your car and order a new one!)

Great to see some female spousal units digging the lasers. My wife wanted a greenie until she saw my 6X-powered Kryton blu-ray.

After we get back from vacation later this month, I am getting supplies for an 8X Jayrob Pocket Mini build just for her! Violet beam and lipstick-sized - the ultimate girl-friendly laser.

Apologies for the thread jack. Those are amazing videos. One day I'll wield the power of Hercules...one day. I find the stability of Hercs most appealing.
