Sorry to say it's not much of a review if we don't know what kind of laser it is and where you got it specifically.

You also can't judge output of a laser without a calibrated LPM. There are members here who can LPM your laser for you.

Other than that your review and photos are pretty good :)

Pics now working and that is a descent strength for the $ you paid guessing from the photos. VERY difficult to impossible to come up with an actual number for the power output though and I own somewhere around a 100 532nm units. If I had the unit in my possession I could probably tell whether it was in the 0-50, 50-100, >100mw range just because of experience but wouldn't be right every time due to many factors that most members that have been here awhile could easily come up with.
What I'm saying is that what these members are telling you about guessing power output is absolutely correct! The more you get into lasers, the more it's going to drive you nuts not owning an LPM (Laser Power Meter) to figure out exactly what output your units have. Unfortunately there's no way to measure output without an actual calibrated LPM.
The good news is there are many of us who will do it for free (as long as shipping is paid for) with the understanding that there's always a risk of something going wrong with a unit and the measurer cannot be held responsible unless that person actually damages the unit somehow (very doubtful since most who have invested in an LPM tend to be quite responsible and take the hobby seriously).
+ REP for your enthusiasm and first review.
Best advice I can give (besides for eye safety) is be a sponge and listen/learn AND be OVERLY nice on the forums so others will want to help and answer your questions. Don't easily take offense to comments by some of our more "crusty" members. Relax and enjoy the ride;)
