Hi, everyone, this is my very first review on this forum, and I was fortunate enough to be the first one to review this item on this site. I bought the 100mW version of the Gatlin green laser from O-like.com for $96.99+ shipping, this link to the laser: Gatlin 100mW green laser /waterproof &adjustable [OLGT100] - $96.99 : O-Like, Quality Products, Great Prices

This laser is very unique in every way shape and form! This laser looks like a "mini machine gun" which is a quote from a user on this forum, when the all the hipe was going up. I must say after a few days of use, this laser is performing incredible, and the high quality is superb! The laser take 1 3.7v battery, and the laser comes in a tin box with strafoam padding, shaped perfectly for the laser to be cradled in. By far this is my 3rd laser from O-like.com and this is the most high- Quality laser I have ever seen from O-like! I've even posted a youtube video of me showing the functions of the laser hand's on, and it's a good video to see if you are interested in buying this laser. The link for youtube video: YouTube - 100mW green laser

In the pictures here I've posted you can see that the laser is about 4 1/2 inches, which is a shocker, compared to the advertised picture on O-like, but although most of us thought this laser be 2 1/2 inches smaller, it's still well worth the price, and knowing it has a good heat sink, it should last me many good years.

O-like specs:

Specifications:
1) Wavelength: 532+/-10 nm
2) Working voltage: DC 3.7-4.2V
3) Working current: < 500mA
4)Output power:85-100mW
5) Laser shape: Dot
6) Dimensions: 40(dia.) x112 (L) mm
7)Click on –off button
8)Operation temperature range: 20°C-35°C
9)Storage temperature:-10°C-50°C
Upgrade metal box packing and CR123A Lithium battery included

Any comment or questions, please don't hesitate to ask, I'll get back A.S.A.P!

Lol, yeah sorry about that, just that the pic's were too big for the site, so I was forces to do that. Anyway thanks, also if you saw my rating, i'm kinda new, but I have like 2 red negative dots by my name, do you know how that could of happened by chance, because I'm new, and if you could do anything to increase it, I would love it.

Nice review. I will have to add this to my ever increasing wish list. That thing is pretty big but it looks sweet!

Are those houses across the way that you scanned with the laser? I would hate to see you cause permanent eye damage to someone across the way who just happens to be curious about the weird green light. Please be careful.

People at the Austrian Armed Forces always told us "Ignorance of the law is no excuse." If you don´t know the rules here, just read and respect the forum policy and try to think about your posts objective before sending them.

I neg rep you in the past but if it helps you, I tried to give you a +rep point after I read your review (but the system doesn´t allow to spread 2* reputation around in such short time)
Keep trying holding your ground and you´ll see green rep points very soon!

Nice review, nice video.
Motivational +rep as promised.

Anyhow, you seem to get little carried away with the laser.
BE MORE CAREFUL!
While shining it around water, do not point it that near your camera (and presumably face).
Outside, comment :"It's a felony to point at aircraft, but..." <-Could do without "But..." part.

Anyhow, nice laser, nice vid.
Just take some care when shining it around, and you will be alright.

I agree with some of the other members it would seem you are a little bit lax about the use of a hi power laser, you realy need to think safety more, and that comment about being a felony to point a laser at an aircraft and then say "but" sort of leads people to think you may beleive that isn't realy so. maby you are one who should not play with lasers till you get some understanding of there consequences. THINK SAFETY ! how would feel if some one in the house across the street from you where you were shining your laser lost the vision in one or both of there eyes because you just couldn't resist shining your laser on someones else's property and hit them in the eye with it, how would you feel about it then, do you think of these things befor going out and doing them ? maby you should ! THINK SAFETY !

BTW nice review.

PS you are wrong, you said in a different thread that Susie only sells the best stuff and would not lie to you, I have evidence to the contrary, I have been sold many under spec items broken items, and have been lied to about being refunded money for bad items, it took me 6 months to get a refund on a broken dive laser, and I'm still waiting on a refund for under spec green modules I returned last December 18th. so she is just like the other chinese distributers, once they have your money that is all that matters to them. I have been waiting on her to reply to my emails for two months, then she sends me a couple emails then I don't hear from here till she want's to reply at her whim.
I would advise all members to quit buying from O-likenot for a while and see how they react maby they will test there stuff better befor sending it out. I for one am tired of spending more in shipping to send bad stuff back, maby I should post a thread listing all the problems I have had with O-likenot and request others add to it or do the same, then we will see just how much junk they have been shipping. Susie tells me no one but me ever complains about there products HEHEHE I know that is not true as I have had several people complain to me about there stuf, and green modules are the most I hear about !

Well... I do agree with you, but O-like is a bigger company then you would expect, Susie just runs the communications, and I do agree that if your unlucky you could get under spec lasers, or in some cases even defective! I got a 200mW green focusable torch laser, and in about 1 week it turned defective, and I shipped it back, the down side is that I paid about $10 to send it back, but bright side is that I got a new one, and hopefully I can get more reviews of all my lasers on this site. :)

well for me guys i had been a buyer from o-like since last year and i have a total of many orders too. all i can say is that when there is a defective laser I shipped it with care, I will make sure that i will not lost the defective laser by keeping a track record of the delivery from our post master.

because WARRANTY covers replacement or REFUND.. and business is business.
and i never lost the laser i sent them back. i only paid 5$ for the normal mail here in the Philippines.

after 7 days they told me they have received the laser and replaced me with a NEW one.

there is this one instance that susie send me the replacement immediately while my was just being sent.

This laser looks great. I think the large size is a definite bonus, as predicted before that should really help with stability on longer runs.

I'm looking forward to seeing some power measurements, both on this 100 mW model and the 200 mW.

Well, souljasi,
I hope you see a lot of people complaining about your laser handling!

Please do take care when handling it,
a few points of reference:
DO NOT POINT ANYHWERE NEAR:
1) reflective surfaces (any kind of reflection, diffuse, specular, mirrors included here)
2) horizon level , not just outside but inside to
3) any lights at nightsky!! When starpointing, circle around the object you want to point, not point directly at it!
4) Anywhere where a living being can appear, example: closed door - you never know when somebody will open it and you can only have that fast reflexes... or a empty hallway, maybe somebody comes around the corner and regrets it.

Please do be safe with lasers here, they are NOT TOYS, after all!

Nice review, it's nice to finally see the size of this thing compared to other objects.
